A really beautiful place with lots of options for camping in both meadow and forest areas. Fresh spring water available, as well as bathrooms and showers. Very friendly and welcoming staff, I would stay here again if I was in the area.
Would like to stay longer next time
Great last minute yurt trip!
Awesome community kitchen TriMet bus!
Kids loved it.
Nature there is gorgeous, the work you’re all doing is evident, keep it up.
Go to zigzag farm, it's cute!!!
Super cute place to stay, tucked away in the woods but still accessible with a small grocery store nearby if you run out of supplies. Very unique and inventive take on outdoors! The kitchenette common area inside the bus was super cute.
I will certainly come back to stay in a yurt. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming
I loved this place. After exploring a dozen campgrounds this summer in North Oregon, this was one of my favorites. For the price, you won’t find better facilities: drinking water, a nice kitchen (bring your own cooking tools), flush toilets and showers. If you need cell coverage, we had it consistently (Verizon). A few miles off the road, it feels secluded enough to be relaxing. But you’re about 3 miles from a grocery store, liquor store, gas station, and several restaurants. It’s a great place and can’t wait to get back there.
Great camping near mount hood!
Great place to camp near Mt Hood. I've stayed at a lot of National Park/Forest campgrounds and this is better than most of them for similar cost. Compared to the massively overpriced hotels in the area, Zigzag Farm can't be beat. Would definitely stay here again!
I stayed two nights in the "Forest Camp" area of the farm. The site was decently private and right next to parking for easy car access. Other sites farther from the parking looked much more private. Amenities were great -- clean bathrooms + showers, good drinking water, two well-equipped kitchen areas. It's also only a few minutes from the Thriftway grocery store and the Mt Hood Village restaurants -- by far the best options for food in the area. Easy 10-20 minute drive to any of the sites around the mountain (Mirror Lake, Trillium Lake, Timberline, etc).
