Tanglewood Farm & Forest Stewardship is a very special little piece of the Earth. Located at the very top of Chehalem Mountain in the heart of the Oregon Wine Country, the property is a beautiful mix of forest, meadow, and a retired filbert orchard that is being transformed into native oak savanna. The wildlife here is abundant, including deer, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, bobcats, coyotes and raptors galore. The humans who live here strive to live in harmony with the land - no spray, insecticide or herbicide has been used on the property in nearly a decade. Learn more about this land: Welcome! We are Tanglewood Farm and Forest Stewardship. Located in the heart of Oregon wine country, our site is in a retired hazelnut orchard surrounded by forest, an area that is being transformed into native forest and oak savanna. The site is private and secluded, with your own tent and separate shade shelter. The site includes a fire pit, plus camp kitchen table with wash basin and counter. Nearby there is great hiking, wine tasting and terrific areas for bicycling. We can provide you with firewood, fresh, organic, free range eggs, and even private yoga if that's your jam. If you are looking for peace, calm and a true get away from it all, we are your campsite! A few things to note about our beautiful spot: - You will need to be shown around when you arrive, so getting here before nightfall is a good idea - Forget something?
