This site is next to 2 cabins and an outhouse. We camped in a Honda Element and finding a level spot was a little challenging but there were braces provided to put under the tires. The night sky was clear and the view of the rising moon was great. We didn't have a fire due to the state fire ban. Hosts were in the cabin next door and were friendly. Very quiet, peaceful.

A perfectly serene spot that is incredibly only 3 miles off the freeway. Felt like we were somewhere much deeper in the woods. We had our 17 ft camper and Jeep. It was easy to navigate and the views were fantastic. There aren’t any hook ups but we knew that going in. Host was extremely kind. I would HIGHLY recommend this site.

Thanks so much! Very thorough directions and checked in with me before I arrived to assure I knew how to get there. Cool spot, leveling blocks worked great for my truck, thanks!

Fabulous spot. Directions perfect. Mark helpful, attentive making sure we arrived safely and got in. Only ones there midweek. Did need levelers for teardrop which we had (and mark also provided if needed). Mild freeway noise at times but given proximity not surprised. Wonderful break on long road trip. Oh, and thanks for loan of corkscrew Mark!!! Saved us…

Beautiful and secluded site. There were great views. Had a storm come through with a lot of lightening and thunder which was exciting. But peaceful site.

Nice mountain setting 3 miles up a gravel road from the highway. It has the feel of remoteness and it is quiet (ni highway noise). This Hipcamp camping spot is next to 2 rental cabins that share a nice, clean, large 'outhouse'/pit toilet. The actual camping spot is not level but some leveling blocks are provided.

Being Memorial Day weekend and traveling between WA and CO I wanted a reserved tent site away from a public campground and chose Mark’s. The site was as described (primitive) and had a forest view. There is a fire ring with a few cut logs to sit on and a small canopy to block overhead sun. Have a 10’x10’ (to be able to stand up) for larger pads and 7’x7’ for smaller areas. Used smaller tent and it covered the bark pad but could have made the larger one work.

There is a rentable cabin on site but the guests were quieter than a busy campground with dumpster lids banging.
It’s located in a NF and there were lots of RV’s camped in open spots on the road in. Mark’s site is far enough in to avoid them. About three miles off I-84 made it convenient for a travel stop.

Yes I would stay there again.
