My family and I loved camping at this location! It is very close to all of the fun things that Hood River has too offer and also provides easy access to Mt Hood. Michael was very flexible, responsive, and accommodating. Thanks so much!
Nice little spot in Hood River to park for the night. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for and exactly as described. Thanks for the place stay for the night!
Decent spot near all the fun stuff. We were the only people staying until around 10pm when someone else showed up.
This is a great location, especially if you’re in town to ride the Post Canyon trails! Close enough to town, but still far enough away to have some quiet.
This is an open, dusty lot without a lot of shade except for spots 1 and 2, which showed up as booked on Hipcamp (they were unoccupied the whole time.
The area was completely free of trash, port-a-potty was recently serviced, and was a generally nice spot.
My only complaints were the lack of shaded spots and the dustiness of the area. That is on me, as it would be fine if you weren’t spending much time in camp.
No frills but just what I needed. This stop was an in/out overnight. It was easy to find and park. Quiet with a nice breeze. It feels like a parking lot though. A safe parking lot! People come in late and leave early. Just a few miles from Hood River
City center.
Great location, easy to find. Very basic but just what we needed. A little road noise in the morning but not bad. Access is good - easy to get into and out of.
As advertised, it's a spot to park a van or RV overnight near the Gorge.. 8 spots total in a lot next to a house. Easily booked online within the hour before we arrived. Port-a-potty was clean. I didn't interact with the host because there was no need to. We were there just a night. Place is in a nice, safe area.
Very windy, very small, very dusty and weedy little sites. Ground was so hard we could barely get stakes in and wind kept us up all night anyway. No charm at all except close to nice walk on country roads.
