This was one of the most wonderful camping experiences every:). Beautiful, isolated, quiet. The site is not level, if you come with a camper van, you will have to find a way to level. Sleeping in the bunkhouse is an option.
We hope to come again!!!
The hospitality of this family was very much appreciated and my family and I really enjoyed walking around the property, watching the sunset and building a fire. I would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful views! Brent is a very hospitable host, going above and beyond to make the stay pleasurable. Will definitely be back for more! I highly recommend the meat for purchase, though I’d rather keep it for myself.
My wife and I had a great experience staying here. We were a little worried because of the spike in heat that started just as we began the weekend but there was a pretty steady breeze every evening that helped quite a bit and it was never uncomfortable. The main purpose of our trip was to get out somewhere quiet with some big sky to catch the Perseid meteor shower. Even with the smoke from all the fires we were still able to get a pretty good show and frankly the air quality here was better than it had been up in Portland when we left that afternoon. All in all a pretty good place to spend some time with each other away from most distractions . The cabin is clean and comfortable with real ranch charm. Also if meat is your thing I recommend picking up some the ranch made beef jerky. It's awesome!
This was a great space if you choose to sleep in the small bunkhouse, but is a bit difficult to camp on since it’s on a hill and the flat part is gravel. My one negative would be that the small cabin was not cleaned prior to us arriving. There was a ton of mouse poop inside and the floors were pretty dirty.
Brent was a very welcoming host who made sure we had efficient directions and came to check in on us one day.
The property was beautiful. Brent was a great host and very welcoming. We could hear the cows in the woods all afternoon, but around dusk, 10-15 of them arrived outside our trailer to bunk down for the night. Honestly, it was some of the best entertainment we've had while camping!
