Available exclusively to private groups & ideal for RV groups, camp & motorcycle groups, and tent campers, Rustic Pines is a 10 acre natural getaway, that many guests regard as an eco-site.

Our season typically runs from July 1 through October 31. 10 campsites are included with this rental. More sites are ready to use, based on size of your accommodation.

WHAT DOES RUSTIC MEAN?

Rustic is similar to off-grid, but not entirely unplugged. Our main building can be wired for lighting with plug-ins & generator-driven.

We are not a glamping site. Rather than pour asphalt or trench utility lines, we’ve preserved our tranquil grounds. Amenities consist of fresh breezes though aspen & pines, wildlife, and over one mile of mowed walking trails. All to provide healthy respite from the grid.

Our main structure is a 30x60’ open-sided pavilion, wired for lighting and electrical outlets. Generators are available for rental, and have been used for music, meadow lighting, musical performances, and evening weddings.

WEDDINGS

Our chapel in the aspens can be customized to your liking for open-air weddings. We call it simply 'The Chapel.' Wedding guests favor 'Aspen Oasis.' If ou choose to take our vows in our Chapel/Oasis, generator-powered lighting & music enable festivities to carry on after sunset.

WILDLIFE

The aspen, pine and cattails that line our stream-side meadows often draw a colorful variety of wildlife. Depending on the season you may see deer, elk, waterfowl, migrating birds & elk. A colony of beavers is engineering an impressive series on a series of ponds downstream. Visiting birders have commented on a rich variety of avian life; often during migration seasons.

NIGHT SKY

The absence of light pollution and mountain altitude allow countless stars, brilliant moonrises. Meteor showers begin in August, some years painting the sky with streaks of flame thru September.

Your ten private acres include three acres of natural grass meadows. As we are off-grid, our 2/3 mile driveway features a variety of shallow potholes, but is mostly flat with wide turns. We've been called ideal for self-contained RV’s and campers. Visitors simply select a comfortable patch of meadow to park/pitch their accommodation. Some guests choose the shade of pines, aspen. Others prefer space beneath the stars.

We maintain more than one mile of freshly mowed trails, allowing guests to explore forest, marshland ponds and and meadow within our 10 acre enclave.

Once again, we accommodate one group at a time. We provide a unique, private experience for friends, family, and various group gatherings.

Think of a hotel with one very spacious room. Once your party's checked in, the 'No Vacancy' sign goes up.

PRIVACY

'Private' means you’ll never park next to a stranger. Though we’re off the beaten path the drive is short. Depending on the direction you're coming from, we’re roughly 20 miles from I-84, on highway 203 (Grand Tour Scenic Byway).

Our private grounds are tucked 2/3 mile from the highway. Our private driveway features a number of rustic, shallow potholes. Aside from this, the private drive is relatively gentle & flat, with wide turns, leading you to a streamside hollow, a quiet distance from the highway.
