Connie and Lee are the most fabulous, and welcoming hosts. We were exhausted from a long drive and we were greeted with smiles, fresh farm eggs and horses galore. This is exactly what we needed, my husband, pup and I spent the majority of our time walking their property (it’s enormous!!!), so we could let our pup off leash away from the livestock. We would go on long walks, and break it up in the shade in our RV. On our last night, Connie, Lee and a close friend invited us to enjoy the fire pit with them. We had such lovey conversations filled with laughter, knowledge and kindness. They know so much history about their little town which was so fun to listen to. The coyotes sang as the stars came out and we listened to the horses as we fell asleep. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. And such wonderful hospitality. Covid-19 has really put a damper on life, I feel completely recharged after 1.5 days on Connie and Lee’s property.
We had a wonderful time at this place. Waking up to the sound of the horses was incredible. The ranch is super private, pretty, and has good vibes. The hosts were welcoming. And we loved their sweet their cats, dog, and all the gorgeous horses! We'd go back in a heartbeat.
Wonderful stay in roach farm
Wonderful place with very friendly hosts. Full of spirit in a beautiful areas and comfortable setup. We came for one day and stays for another one. The kids loved the tour in the farm and the interactions with the animals.
Highly recommended place !
A unicorn experience!
The Ruah Ranch hosts are the King & Queen of under promise and over deliver. Our experience exceeded expectations. They are kind and accommodating even amidst the busy running of the beautiful ranch. The race horses are incredible even just to watch.
There were several families in our group for the reservation and even though the listing was for one group, they graciously accommodated all of us with PLENTY of extra space.
It was a perfect spot for our family with young kids. Our girls even nicknamed one of the horses “Uni” for unicorn and when the owners learned of their affection they fashioned a shiny horn, attached it to the beautiful white horse, and brought her out for a photo op with the kids! We all got a kick out of it. This place was awesome.
Also, the kitchen and bathroom were very useful to have close by.
Lovely ranch property
Quiet, scenic property with beautiful thoroughbreds. Chickens, cats and regular ranch work during the day.
You'll be most comfortable if you bring a trailer rather than tent camp - there is not much natural shade during the day.
The trailer camp area is next to horse barn, which is cool, but make sure your expectations are aligned with the reality of a working farm (with horses come flies, electric fences, etc).
