Choose from a number of different camp sites to pitch your tent or park your RV.

At the Heart of Royal, Oregon (in Cottage Grove proper) we are at the very end of a Dead-End road, which means no sound or light pollution from passing cars or nearby residences. Surrounded by BLM and Timber properties (please be aware of clearly marked private property/no trespassing signs at the end of the public road), while still being just under 6 miles outside of downtown Cottage Grove-the town of Covered-Bridges- with many options for shopping, dining, breweries and live music!  Nearby access to wineries and two large lakes (Cottage Grove and Dorena) with swimming, boating, fishing, as well as hiking and biking trails. We are 35 minutes/27 miles from the heart of Eugene.

All campsites are a short walk away from a small pond (no swimming) and epic sunset views! Oak savanna habitat restoration and sustainable thinning of mixed woodland in process on the land.

**Poison oak is present! Please know how to identify, or ask and I will show you** I have done my best to clear it away from main camping areas and trails, but be cautious. Tecnu is provided in the outdoor shower if needed!

**LEAVE NO TRACE//PACK IN, PACK OUT! Trash bags and bins are provided, but please take your trash with you, NO DUMPING!**

**All guests have access to the outdoor shower and two composting toilets.**

**COMPOSTING TOILET- Please, poop only! Urinate outside and throw TP in trash or composting barrel (around back of the outhouse). Before use: Make sure bucket is lined with sawdust. After use: Cover waste with sawdust 3:1 and dump bucket in the composting barrel around back.  Replace bucket and line with sawdust. Be Courteous! Thank you!**

Campfires are allowed within local regulation.

The 'RV Pad' hosts a water and electric hookup (no dumping), the surface is flat with loose gravel, and can accommodate RV slideouts. There are grassy spots nearby, as well as a covered (open) carport with lights and outlets to accommodate camper vans and tents on rainy days.  **The RV Pad is our least private site!** It is right next to the Dome and shares the driveway.  The pad also accommodates our 'camp-host' trailer (as seen in the pictures), so any Hipcamp vehicle/RV will share the large pad space.  Privacy is the tradeoff for accessibility, being right next to hookups, outdoor shower (with hot water) and dry compositing toilet (#2 only).

The 'Tent Platform' site has a large fire pit, composting toilet (for #2 only), potable water and electric via hose/extension cord, is a short distance from our outdoor shower, and is accessible with 4WD (not accessible with a camper/trailer).  From this site one can see the top of the monolithic Dome-Home and RV pad.  **If camping with a vehicle that cannot take the steep road to the site, one can park on our gravel driveway (or at the top of the hill) and walk down via steps or road.**

The 'Tent/Trailer Camping' site is our most secluded/private site and is available amongst our Madrone and Chinquapin tree zone. The road to this site is flat, thus  it is accessible by car/camper/small trailer.  There are many level spaces to park or pitch a tent.  **This site has the least amount of amenities!** Hipcampers have access to electric via extension cord, as well as a small cooking-fire-pit; however, potable water, composting toilet (#2 only!) and outdoor shower are all located by the Dome, which hipcampers will have to walk (short distance) or drive to. There is currently an old (being renovated) trailer on site (out of the way), which is off access to hipcampers.

As advertised. Nice property with room to roam. Carly is welcoming and accommodating. Great base from which to explore the area and end of road privacy means easy access with a “further out” feel. Nice amenities like the outdoor shower and grassy area to enjoy the view.

This was a great spot, with great hosts! It happened to be raining the night we were camping. We arrived late but our hosts had set up a large pop up tent over the platform. The next day, when my car got stuck in the mud, I messaged the host. They fired up their tractor and had towed us out within ten minutes. We really appreciated their above and beyond hospitality that they showed us :)

We parked our campervan at Carly's RV site and had access to the campsite's fire pit, outdoor shower, and dry composting toilet. (We never used those last amenities as we were there such a short time, but they were a super nice touch! Note... Toilet is only for #2.) Hosts were super nice and communicative. The property was beautiful and well kept. Would definitely nstay there again!
