River View
River View is a little slice of rugged heaven just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway but once at the top, it is flat and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! Hike around, visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjo

Enjoy the amazing food Florence has to offer (ask the host for her favorites). Walk down to Old Town for dinner or bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house. Take a short walk to Pricket state park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river. Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by! We had a great night staying here. The view is amazing, and the space feels private. Plenty of space behind the cabin the let our dog out. The lack of a bathroom wasn't a huge issue for us, as we were out and about most of the time. If we're in the area again we would definitely come back.
Great space! Host was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the she shed as an extra sleep space as our teardrop trailer does not have a lot of space for 3 people!
This was my second time staying at River View. Just as I had a positive experience for the first stay, this time was great as well. It’s quiet and there is an excellent view of the river.
We have a small RV, which is easily parked, as there is a good sized turnaround; having access to power is a definite plus. There is a “she-shed” available, but we didn’t use it. If you are looking for a nice place to stay while exploring the Oregon coast, I would recommend this site.
This is a great place to stay. This was my first time using Hipcamp, so i was in contact with Christina a lot; she is very helpful and prompt. To respond to my question. I will deliver stay here again!

This was a quick traveling stop and it worked great for our needs. We arrived at dusk and were on the road by 9am after sleeping well. You can hear 101 nearby, but it was not a bother to us. If we had stayed longer, the small house would have been a nice touch. It was quite comfortable and provided the view of the river while blocking the chill and highway noise.
Like tent camping but cleaner - my bf and I stayed here one night just to get out of town for the wkend. Just put an air mattress down in the shelter and hung out inside, but the property has lots of green space to be outside too. We weren't bothered by highway noise. We walked to Old Town for dinner and shopping and then coffee the next day, walked on the 101 and across the Siuslaw bridge, just to be clear. You can see the host house from the camp shelter, and there are no window coverings, but we were given privacy while at the same time felt taken care of. The shelter does not lock but we felt safe. Bring a lantern, but if you need to charge devices that can be done outside I think? We didn't really care. A sweet welcome note from Violet and a sweet visit from the family dogs were my favorite things. Hi Caramel ❤️
We LOVED River View! The space is private and has a lovely view of Florence across the river. We spent two nights there, and really appreciated being able to use the tiny house to make music when the wind was blustery. We found the walk into Old Town not too difficult, and it was fun to cross the drawbridge, especially at sunset. Christina had excellent suggestions for dinner and homemade ice cream. Would happily stay at River View again!

The views of the river are phenomenal! It backs to nice greenspace but it also is next to hwy 101 where there is a hill, so there was Jake brakes and sirens disturbing the peaceful view. There is no cover, so bring a pop up or shelter to protect from sun/rain. There is power but no water and no garbage. There is a very cute hut with a porch that you can hang out in to escape the elements, though we did not use it.
