Winter is here so we had to remove porta potty and it is 4 wheel drive with chains. Kayaking, fishing, hiking. Bird watching, hunting, snow mobiling. Volleyball and frisbee golf. 25 miles from Crater Lake National Park. Quiet peaceful enjoyment. Cabin has two lofts and a futon that makes into full size bed. Loft is for one child only or one adult. Awesome place! Kathy is a great host, and the cabin is so cute! We would absolutely stay there again!
We had a great stay at Kathy's cabin. It was peaceful and perfect! Our son loved the playground and our daughter loved the badminton court :)
Thank you for a wonderful stay!
I had a very pleasant stay at Rhapsody’s cabin for a couple nights over 4th of July weekend. I love how the side of the cabin opens like barn doors, making it feel very light and open in the daytime. The sounds of the river trickling and the birds calling especially at dawn and dusk is so soothing here! Kathy was a very welcoming host and wanted to make sure I had everything I need. The very friendly lab puppy who lives at the main house came down to say good morning a couple times. Location is a great base camp to Crater Lake. Would stay again or recommend to a friend.
Kathy was an amazing host, very helpful with suggestions of where to go in the area and super nice! The little cabin by the river was absolutely perfect for our trip and the four of us even got to use her large floaty tube to hangout on the river after our hike at crater lake! Couldnt recommend it more, and a great price! Definitely will be going back next time we're in the area
Kathy is friendly and accommodating! Site is set right on a little river - beautiful.

We had an amazing time at Kathy’s cabin! It truly exceeded our expectations. It is on a beautiful river with a raft (nothing fancy) to sit and read on with a makeshift volleyball court, disc golf, and a playstructure, and is just all in all 10/10. For the property alone, I would strongly recommend this location—pretty immaculate vibes. Kathy was also friendly with some adorable dogs.
The cabin was essentially a shed converted to a living space with two lofts, a grill outdoors, and a convertible couch that was fairly comfortable. There is not much electricity (they have battery powered lanterns and lights that are quite bright, plus a single outlet that we used for a phone charge and coffee in the morning). It was also hot (while we were there it was 95 degrees during the day) but the shed kept fairly cool (ish). Kathy mentioned she may add a fan, which would help keep cabin temperatures down at night.
The surrounding area is beautiful—around 45 minutes to Crater Lake (which I would 100/10 recommend). Around the cabin is very conservative with very minimal food options but we had a great meal at a small casino lending itself to some quality stories. The cabin has a outside grill—we never used it—but no access to a fridge so one would probably need to buy meat or bring a icebox. Also, make sure you have a car that can go up rough roads/driveways!
All in all, I would highly recommend this HipCamp!

Was great meeting you girls. So glad you enjoyed your time here! Love to have you back again! Kathy
