There are few places on the river that lend themselves to swimming and fishing like this does. Over 6 feet deep, with plenty of shallow areas for the waders! Salmon run up during the fall, and you are only 22 miles from cannon beach. There is kayaking, fishing, floating, hiking, right here.

We had a wonderful time enjoyed the river and soaking tub the cabin was well stocked and everything neat and clean super cool spot to spend some quality time with nature and loved ones.
Pros: Quaint cabin in a peaceful location was a lovely getaway. Kitchen was fully stocked and indoor wood burning fireplace was lovely. Cons: It’s definitely tiny home sized and the bed was harder than the floor. River was too deep and rapid to get in or near at this time of year.

if you want quiet and peaceful, this is the place to go. the only sounds we heard was the water rushing down the river and the birds chirping.
John and Victoria are great hosts! Really friendly and make you feel welcome. The cabin is really cute and cozy and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed a super relaxing few days and can’t wait to come back again. Thanks again!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Red River Cabin. We enjoyed the river and the quiet setting. John and Victoria were friendly and so helpful. They made sure our stay was all we wanted it to be.
Loved the space as it had everything needed to feel like a getaway. The hot tub setup on the river was amazing and I really loved the wood stove for heat. It was too cold for the firepit, so I got my fix with tending to the fire indoors! It's not the only source of heat, but it made the space extra warm and cozy.

John, “Obie”, was such an awesome host. He was friendly, helpful, and made us feel super comfortable on his land. His hot tub set up is really sweet. There’s a Bluetooth speaker and ambiance fire making it an even cooler experience. Definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at the little red cabin! John was incredibly attentive If we had any problems/needs. We'll most definitely be booking here again when the weather is nicer so we can utilize the kayaks!

The cabin was warm and cozy, and the soaking tub, which overlooks the river, was a lovely way to start and end our days.
