Our Private Land is located along the Oregon Coast. Daily you can hear the ocean roar and smell the fresh air off the water. It is a forest area accessible by trails that all link together. There is also a very nice trail off our land to a nearby city trail that will lead you to Agate Beach. You will see coastal evergreens and deciduous trees with all sorts of other bushes and flowers that you typically find along the Oregon Coast. Some of the wildlife on the land such as blacktail deer and many species of birds are seen and heard on most days. Enjoy the beauty, but please do not approach or feed the wildlife. You will see breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the Yaquina Bay Bridge, the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, and Big Creek Reservoir. These landmarks can be seen randomly throughout your walk on the trails and from the campsites. There are beautiful sunsets and sunrises. On a clear night you can see the constellations, undisturbed by city lights.

This is a great spot. It's near town but very private and lots of space. The inclusion of the porta potty is a plus for tent campers or those with small trailers. The host is super helpful and great communication. Directions are spot on (which I'm finding is rare on Hipcamp). The local deer paid us a visit and despite the hurricane-like weather it cleared up enough in the eveing to see the ocean.

My dogs, my friend and I had a fantastic time staying at Mike and Tonia’s! They were gracious hosts and the view was divine. I’m so grateful to discover this gem and cant’ wait for my next trip!
It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to stay at Oceanview Rock Ridge! Mike and Tonia welcomed us immediately even with a late same day booking. Tonia provided detailed directions to the property, where Mike greeted us as he was in route to setup a hot water station with soap and hand sanitizer at our site; what a luxury! I can’t tell you how awesome it is having a clean toilet and hot water at a site and oh what a site it is. I think my husband and I could have stayed there indefinitely. The views are incredible! Each site is spaced out from the others so you have complete privacy. Mike and Tonia have firewood, pits and picnic tables all set up for a dreamy evening. Our dog was welcome and enjoyed the free space to roam. We were fortunate to chat with Mike the following morning as we enjoyed coffee, the view and good conversation. This place has set the bar high for all future hipcamp stays. We will certainly be making this a regular stop on our Oregon coast travels. Thank you so much Mike and Tonia for sharing such a special place with us vanabonds (vagabonds in the sprinter). Your hospitality fills us with gratitude!

Great location. Nice to have a very clean Porta Potty. Lovely view of the ocean. Quiet and delightful.

The camping spot was amazing! We had 3 dogs with us and they all loved running around and being free! We didn’t see anyone else on the property, it was perfect!
You could hear the ocean from the site, we saw lots of deer as well on the property. The hosts were amazing and responded quickly whenever I would message them, Mike met us the night we came in to guide us to our spot and it was late.
He was great!
We will definitely be back, I didn’t want to leave!

Great stay again at this special spot!
Peaceful, quiet, lovely spot. Room to hike and roam, find different ocean views, and feel quite secluded. Hosts were great, they really care about the land and sharing it. We highly recommend, and will return!
