Palomino Paradise

Awesome little spot that is close enough to Bend you can uber! They provide a lot of little things with the sleepable trailer. It was very nice.

This is a great spot if you are traveling thru the area and need a nice, safe spot to camp for the night. Alex is super nice and welcoming and has put a lot of care into making her property comfortable for guests - a cool horse trailer turned into a chill spot to read or hang out with electricity and a well attended outhouse with thoughtful amenities. And some snacks if you need them! The road nearby did not bother me as I was sleeping in my car. I would definitely stay here again.

This host was absolutely lovely, and the grounds were beautiful! The trailer was super cute and homey feeling, and Alex - the host - had set out a few snacks, games, and a few other things to help us feel more at home. I have only used hipcamp a few times before and the times i did was for booking relatively large and well known campsites, so i was a bit hesitant in making this booking, but i regret absolutely nothing. We had an incredible stay and I definitely recommend it.

p.s. it does get a little chilly in the trailer at night so i would recommend bringing extra blankets!

Palomino paradise was great! I felt very safe! I’m 5’o and the trailer was just long enough for me. Alex was quick with responses, provided a camping light, the cooking set up works out great and it’s very clean. People can ‘lounge’ under the tree, listen to frogs at the pond, or just read a book. No WiFi but my cellphone worked perfectly fine. I recommend!

Alex was fantastic! Very friendly, communicative, and gave great instructions. The spot had quick access to the highway and was the perfect amount of respite from the city while still being incredibly close. We appreciated all of the additional touches (charging station, potable water, compost outhouse) and found it very easy to relax in the space. Would stay here in a heartbeat again!

This campsite is nice, and the trailer is a very cute little setup! It’s very easy to get to, and accessible from the main road, which is the primary drawback. It’s right off the highway, and there’s no escaping the sounds of cars and trucks driving along the highway at night. Not a deal-breaker, but also not the most restful sleep we’ve had.

That being said, the site has what you need, and Alex is very responsive! Would consider staying again in a pinch.

Hey Anthony! Curious if you guys stayed in the trailer, or ended up sleeping up on the hill in your camper? The parking space up on the hill is on higher ground causing the sound waves to angle up from the source of noise. This causes that spot to be far louder than down the hill where the horse trailer is located. I apologize you had a less than an incredible time.

First off, Alex is an amazing host! She set us up with refreshments and a wonderful environment. We were dead tired from driving all day and she was there to help us when we got lost. Let me clarify that her directions are right on, but the gps took us about 5 miles off course. Alex was quick to answer her phone and explain where we needed to go. The accommodations are cozy and you feel so free an open like the deer that were grazing in the yard when we woke up.

Beautiful place and everything was very clean! Thanks Alex for the hospitality :)

Such a cute vibe of a place. They had everything you could’ve imagined for a fantastic chill time. Coffee, games, a pool, towels, sleeping pads, truly EVERYTHING. Highly recommend.
