Riverwoods Tipi Retreat
Perfect holiday
We stayed for a whole week in the tipi and it has been a fantastic holiday. The space is lovely and has everything one needs. The bath feels luxurious, especially after a day of hiking or rock climbing. Location is perfect, because you're far from the hustle of the town, but close enough to go into Bend regularly, access multiple hiking trails and drive to Smith Rock.
LuLyn and Keenan are great hosts, regularly checking on us. They go the extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable: mini toiletries in the bath, plenty of towels, hiking snacks, board and lawn games. I was glad to get to know LuLyn and Keenan a little bit better and find out what it's like living in Bend for them.

Riverwoods Tipi Retreat
Awesome tipi with modern amenities
The Tipi retreat is awesomely set up. There is ample room to have dinner on the grill outside and play lawn games. The Tipi itself is huge and well decorated, nothing like what we thought a tipi would be like. There is also a full bathroom cottage with hot running water and a tub.
Our hosts were kind and communicative.
It's an awesome place to stay when in Bend.

Best tipi in town.
This will be long because there was so much great things. Man.. what to say about this place. Such an amazing experience. Close to Bend, but out of the way that it’s quiet and cozy. They make it seem like you are alone which makes the privacy really nice. There are plenty of things to do outside too like horseshoes, darts, croquet, and cornhole. They have a fire pit, grill, wash station for plates, and plenty of seating. The outside is just so beautiful with the decor and green grass. My fiancé loved the little metal sculptures so much that we are buying some from the hosts as a souvenir. Then the inside of the bathroom was very relaxing. The water for the huge tub takes awhile to get warm and it’s hard to make it not too hot, but they do mention this so it’s to be expected. They provide epsom salt, all kinds of soaps, and fresh towels. The inside of the tipi was even more astounding. Smelled great, super clean, and very relaxing. We wanted to skip the fun stuff in Bend just so we could enjoy the Tipi even more! They provide water, ice, and a lot of snacks which helped so much on our road trip. There is also plenty of extra blow up beds for other people. The hosts were super nice and always just a text away from helping us if needed. My fiancé and I will 100% be staying again when we come back! Thank you so much to the hosts!

The tipi was amazing for our last night of a family road trip. We were comfortable and had so much fun! We didn't let the kids go on wifi and instead they played darts, had a campfire (gas) and ran all over the grass. We hope to be back! Our hosts were nothing but great!
