Beautiful farm, great hosts
Very special experience! Host Daniel was very good with directions and meeting me on arrival to show me to our campsite. Site on a rise with view of the farm property and surrounding hills - gorgeous. Quiet, safe, comfortable campsite. In the morning Daniel gave us a tour of the farm - very interesting! Grateful for the opportunity to stay at this beautiful private farm and learn about its workings. Wonderful experience - would highly recommend!
Thanks Daniel and your sister too for making that a nice, quiet, scenic camp experience. Very beautiful views and a silly bunch of lambs that were cracking me up with their antics. The large pink and black swine was - playful which is difficult when it also looks delicious.
So yeah, from the ram to the lama, & chickens ...
it’s a good place to enjoy the natural beauty of things.
Organic farm and grassroots friends
What a beautiful spot to camp! We brought two small boys with us, a 2 year-old and 5 year-old, and they had the time of their lives! The farm tour was fantastic, and the host was absolutely amazing. I loved the layout of the campsites and the views during the day and evening were great.
We can't say thank you enough for the warm hospitality, comfortable composting toilet, and overall amazing accommodations. Our favorite hipcamp experiences always include a beautiful place, as well as leaving with new friends and this one did both!
We won't hesitate to come back, and probably will go out of our way to find a reason to do so sooner rather than later!
PS from 5 Year Old: "Be sure to walk over the bridges or between the orange cones, or else you might run into the ditch! Also I love the chickens."
PS from 2 year old: "The cows eat hay and zucchini!"
Beautiful farm, great stay!
The farm was a perfect stop on our CA-OR-WA road trip. The little camp had a sweeping view of the clean happy farm. Very clean and well maintained. All the happy healthy farm animals were fun to meet! We stayed under 2 huge oaks and enjoyed the full moon. We towed in a little tailer with a low clearance van and had no problems. Hard working, easy going farmers and easy to communicate. We’d definitely stay again in the future!
Beautiful sunsets and wonderful hos
Beautiful place, with wonderful hosts, and great sunsets. The sites are clearly marked and site 3 and 4 have hammocks! Site 2 has a platform and site 1 is off a driveway. I recommend site 2, 3 or 4. Site 5 is near the barn and i was able to use the wifi. There is a composting type outhouse.
The animals are super friendly. I signed up for the farm tour. My questions were answered and it was great to learn about their process, success, and learnings.
I highly recommend this place. It might be my favorite place I've stayed through hipcamp.
