If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Staying at this farm is a lot like sleeping in a John Cougar Mellencamp video. You drive past the cows and sleep in a pasture next to the sheep.
At present it seems best suited for those with a trailer or camper of some kind, but either way it's pretty close to I-5, the host was really clear welcoming, and I woke up to geese flying overhead and a soft fog over the horizon.
Free range - home away from home
Lara, Joel, and Daniel were great hosts. We had an amazing weekend retreat on their lovely property. We brought our trailer and had ample space and privacy as well as freedom to explore the property. Our kids enjoyed the many farm animals, pastures, paddocks, etc. Our eldest daughter told us she was never going to leave and the others proclaimed “best camping trip ever”. We hope to return soon.
Loved the sounds of farm life
It truly is a farm with a view. Although we arrived late, around sunset, and left first thing in the morning we enjoyed the sense of being up on the farm not too far from Medford and the highway but worlds away interns of atmosphere. It was also nice to go to bed with the sounds of frogs and cows.
We had a fantastic stay and the hosts were so kind, welcoming and accommodating! The animals and scenery are both beautiful and unique. Nice farm noise ambiance and peeper frogs to fall asleep to. :)
Magical night in a valley of beauty
Such a awesome farm surrounded by life and clean living. Great host, perfect knoll to camp upon. The sounds of frogs lull you to sleep and the early calls of birds awaken you in the morning. So close to the hwy yet so far away from everything. Wonderful stay was had by the entire family.
Lovely grassy knoll in paradise
Needed a nice COVID safe RV overnight on my way along the coast. This for the bill perfectly. Peaceful sleep, bucolic scenery upon awakening. Nothing could be better.
Farm friendly off highway rest stop
A very nice and quiet setting amongst the hills with a nice assortment of family friendly animals. A perfect rest stop, simple, beautiful, easy car camping, very close to the hwy and far enough away to escape. Daniel is a gracious host, and is working to create more private and individual camp sites.
