Beautiful property with great views. Peaceful surroundings and low key hosts. Close to the Ochoco reservoir (3 minutes) and close to Prineville down town (9 minutes).

Jim and Gwen were extremely nice but the grass was overgrown at the sites. The water was just a hose drapped over a fence with a swivel closure. He could have installed a standing hose bib without too much trouble. The bathroom was their RV trailer which was confining. I would have preferred a Port-a-John. Also if you get more than a few people then there is a wait. The setting was pretty. He has a small horse farm and it is close to Prineville which was a good brewery and grocery stores.
Camped in our van just for a quick overnight with the kiddos! Even though it rained a bit on us we had a great visit. The girls loved eating dinner and having the horses come right up to the fence by us. Gwen and Jim were great hosts!
I enjoyed my short stay. Gwen was very kind and provided helpful information about the area. The directions were clear, and I was greeted upon arrival. Beautiful and quiet get away. Loved seeing the horses!

gwen and jim were so kind and gave me space to just relax. grassy land surrounded by agricultural fields and horses. beautiful sunsets here!
Beautiful Mountain View with the horses farm. The hosts are very friendly, they provided us the attractions we should visit and all helpful informations about Prineville.

Jim was suoer welcoming and kind, their property and garden is very beautiful and spacious. Make sure to bring your cameras for all the different flowers in the garden! I will definitely be coming back here whenever I'm staying in the area again.

Thank you Tony you were a blessing to meet and have at my home!

Tom, thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. I apologize that you found the grass to high for your comfort. When you mentioned that to me I was able to grab my weed whacker and groom the area you were concerned about, I hoped that helped. As far as the water "hose" and the bathroom in the trailer, I don't know if you noticed the pipe that was stub up by the hose. We are in the process of installing a regular bathroom with a potable water connection. This is our first full year of operating the Hipcamp site and only had a few campers at the end of last season. Getting this built is quite a process with acquiring the bathroom facility and county permitting. We do make available a restroom just inside our back door for those who find the RV difficult to use and I hope I mentioned this to you upon your arrival. If not please accept my apologies. I did really enjoy sitting on the porch and talking with you while consuming some of my favorite Irish Whiskey, LOL! My best to you and yours in your travels!
