Welcome to our farm in the Red Hills of Newberg/ Dundee. We have 35 animals roaming our 8 acres including highland and jersey cows, sheep, wild mustangs and show horses, as well as peacocks and chickens in our farm’s garden area. You are invited to stay in our horse trailer; the setup is complete with bistro table and chairs, king sized bed, and hammock. A rustic loo toilet is included. You may be lucky to hear the coyotes at night and the friendly moo of the cows feeding at their barn just behind where you stay.

Bring a bike or hiking shoes and trek to wineries and tasting rooms or hiking trails nearby. For an additional fee, we offer farm tours where you will receive a farm painting by Jen and have a meet and greet with all the animals, including a macaw and a sled dog team. Art and animal class experiences for you to try your hand at painting can also be scheduled for an additional fee.

Come and enjoy your stay at Horse and Highland Hideaway. ❤️

The horse and highland grounds were beautiful, the trailer cozy and the hosts welcoming. Everything functioned as expected and promised - lights, campfire, charger, and compost toilet.

The trailer offered shelter but no protection from outdoor temperature, which we were certainly warned about and prepared for. Bundled up, the lofted bed was comfy and cozy.

This was such a cool place to stay! I loved the cozy bed and fun sitting area. The view and the neighbors were the real show stealers, though. Oregon Wine Country is breathtaking, and to get to sit and gaze at it and the stars with the cows, sheep, horses, peacocks, ALL OF IT was amazing. I cannot wait to go back and stay again.
