The cabin overlooks the beautiful coastal range and nearby forest off the deck. Open the front wall and enjoy the breeze from the west during your stay. Our refurbished compost outhouse is just a short walk across the pasture.
There is no electricity or running water so make sure to include lanterns and water along with your camp gear. There is water for rinsing dishes and washing hands. You will find a picnic table, 2 camp chairs, small (real small) folding camp table, and our free-standing propane fire pit, not recommended for cooking, create a relaxing experience. Bring bedding, lots of blankets and/or sleeping bags to keep warm at night during the winter months. We like to call this “dry camp glamping”.
We offer a garden cart to transport your gear out to the cabin. The cabin sits about 1/8th mile from your car/truck across our west pasture.
** Goat's milk cheese and farm fresh eggs for sale to campers. We are happy to provide price and availability if you are interested.
**Ask about WiFi access in case you want to work remotely during your stay. We can set you up in the barn with advance notice. We are happy to provide price per day to accommodate you while you are here.
We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motorboat and kayaking launch in the town of Clatskanie, Beaver Boat Ramp, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away (closed to public during Covid-19). Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

Super cute A frame, Paul and Becky very friendly, great 24 hour getaway. They provided a lead to tie up the dog not so he could still walk around. Cute sheep, cows, and goats!
This was the perfect charming escape from the city. I spent one night and slept great. Felt safe for solo female traveler. Very adorable cabin surrounded by fields and trees. Great spot to read or birdwatch. Met two of the hosts, both very friendly. Directions were spot on just follow them and you can’t miss the place! I would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice place to retreat, relax, and disconnect. The host was very helpful and friendly. The cabin is super comfy and cozy even in the usual heavy rain. I loved all the many functionalities of the cabin with its moving wall and bed. Totally recommend the place
What an incredible stay! From Becky’s tour I’d the farm, to getting to meet all the farm animals (including baby goats!) to all the details in the design of the a-frame, everything was wonderful and so well thought out! It poured all night but my pup and I stayed totally dry in the little cabin, and enjoyed the soft bed and views! It was exactly what we needed for one night on the road, and would definitely stay here again!
Lovely farm in a gorgeous, bucolic setting. The A-frame is cozy (small) & felt a little tight for two adults and two dogs but had it not been raining, we would have left the awning open and it would have felt much roomier. The hosts were so very welcoming, gave us a really helpful and friendly farm tour and we got to cuddle baby goats. I’d definitely revisit, especially during sunnier days.
We absolutely loved our visit! The spot was private yet accessible to the farm and animals and the space was bright, clean, and welcoming. We were surprised how warm and cozy it was, even throughout the night. There ended up being a bigger snowstorm than expected during our visit, and Becky couldn’t have been more helpful during it! We will definitely visit again.
My 8 year old and I had a ton of fun! The little cabin was small, as expected, but plenty of room for us to hang out and sleep. When the weather was nice it was fun to have the whole side open to the view of the trees. We rented the camp stove and fire pit, which helped a lot. We hiked the fire trail right up the road. Farmer Becky gave us a great tour and let us play with the goats for a while. We’d love to come back in the summer when the baby goats are born!

We loved our stay in the A frame at the farm! It was quiet and comfortable and we felt like we had lots of space to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Bonus: meeting the cows and goats 🐮 thanks again for having us!
