The treehouse in the valley was lovely! It’s bucolic AF. At night I could hear the sheep eating grass, and the air was so fresh. It’s about 20 minutes from Salem, so was convenient for attending a training program in town. Very chill, clean outhouse, loved sleeping under a roof and still outside!
It was so gorgeous!! I actually feel at peace for once. The sheep are so sweet and gentle. Very curious. The treehouse is very sturdy, I felt completely safe.
Will absolutely be back!!
This place transformed my kids into whimsical and kind little creatures. A beautiful view, tree swings and opportunities to enjoy farm life was well worth the stay.
Do look at wind speeds as a windy night got the treehouse to creak (I noticed), the kids didn't notice as they were exhausted from adventuring.
Thank you for a wonderful time on the farm and treehouse. I loved how the sheep were always around. A couple were really friendly. One of them came running to me a couple times when it saw me. So cute!!! Thank you again for sharing your farm.

Great place with a cool tree house, fun sheep, and nice hosts. Would stay there again; definitely recommended!
Nice to have several rope swings for the kids to play on, as well as sheep and goats to watch. I'd expect with the roof on the treehouse that it would be unbearably loud on a rainy night, but in mid August it was absolutely fine.
It is at the bottom of quite a steep, short hill, but I wouldn't expect this to be much of an issue if you don't have a lot of gear to transport to the tree house; we managed fine with sleeping bags for all of our party and inflatable mattresses, but I could see that being a bit of a drag if you were staying for a week and bringing a lot more down with you. Then again, there's not much else I'd expect to bring down to the site...
We enjoyed our stay. The kids had fun pulling wagon up and down the hill. Take turns in the rope swing. Enjoyed bon fire, lots of firewood! Sleeping in a tree house is like fairy tales… Thank you Treehouse for an unforgettable experience. Will miss Felix, the friendly sheep…

Glad your family enjoyed the stay this summer! Thanks for sharing your lovely "tree hugging" photos. Felix misses you!
This was a very well kept camping spot. The treehouse itself was sturdy as were the stairs leading up to it (albeit, a bit narrow, but that wasn't a problem for us). We really appreciated that the lateen was VERY clean. There is a pretty steep hill descending to the treehouse (again, not a problem, but others may want to be aware of it). Everything was in good order.
My daughter absolutely loved the sheep and even gave them all names—of course the one she named "Camel" tried to eat our breakfast and was close to tipping over one of our camp stoves when she was investigating it—but no harm done and now we have a funny story to tell. Who knew that sheep had a taste for soft boiled eggs?
We hope to return some day.
We LOVED our stay at the treehouse! It was so much fun. The staff was all wonderful and we appreciated Adam allowing us to watch goat milking. The kids had so much fun on the swing and camping in the treehouse right in the same pasture as the sheep was a delight. Another highlight was petting the goats. I would recommend GeerCrest Farm to all. Our experience was great!
