The farm was easy to locate and convenient to I-5. Hosts were communicative and put up with a bunch of questions from me.
I ended up in the site next to Alder Meadow because I was the only camper that night and the hosts let me switch to use their picnic table.
Slight slope in the meadow but I was able to find a flatter spot for my 3-person tent closer to the driveway than the picnic table.

I brought 2 friends with me. It was my third time here and their first time ever at a hipcamp. We were treated to the beautiful male hummingbird, feeding on the gorgeous flowering native plants near our camp. At dusk, a Great Horned Owl was perched nearby and hooted in the middle of the night. I always enjoy the chickens in their creatively-built coop. Another great view of the sunset with a slivery moon.
The host offered assistance, but it wasn't needed as everything was in the same place as my last visit last August.
The site was a perfect view. Gurgling water, squeaky frogs and clucking chickens. The blossoms left a lovely fragrance in the air.
The sweet wandering farmers were polite, helpful and had a special happy vibe.

We enjoyed our stay at GreerCrest Farm. It was dusk when we pulled in. The directions given by Jess we’re clear and it was easy to setup and find the our spot. We awoke the next morning and heard the rooster crowing. Our boys loved the chickens 🐓 and sheep 🐑 . It was very green and the trees were just beginning to bear their green buds. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.
I recently stayed at Alder Meadow for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The farm was beautiful, the campsite was clean and spacious, and the hosts were very gracious. I highly recommend this campsite.
Loved staying here! It was gorgeous and a lovely place to return to after a long day of exploring beautiful silverton. Thank you!
It’s a beautiful setting with historical significance. The host was gracious and helpful. We hope to stay again.
We were grateful to book a campsite with close proximity to Salem. Quiet, peaceful, polite hosts, and plenty of room to pop our rooftop tent. Would recommend!
I brought my hard-to-please teenager and 3 of his friends and they had a blast! They were disappointed they had to leave, and continue to bug me about coming back!
I love that everything there is about mulching, recycling, and respecting the earth. I love that there is only the one tent site, so no problems with boisterous neighbors.
Location is great. You are out of town, but close enough to get supplies. Also, close to hiking at Silver Falls, swimming at Silverton Reservoir, or visiting the Oregon Garden. I cannot recommend this place enough!
