Welcome to the Highway Hideaway!

We are a small family ranch located just outside of Redmond, Oregon. Our convenient location is right off HWY 126, where you can come park your RV and camp on a farm with beautiful sunrises! Enjoy the sunshine, a quiet walk, or practice your chip shot during your stay.

Depending on the season, you may see dogs, cats, chickens, horses and cows. If you're interested in a farm-fresh breakfast, you can purchase a dozen eggs from the chickens right here on our farm!

From our location, you have quick driving access to all that Central Oregon has to offer: rivers, lakes, and mountains which means biking, boating, floating, hiking, climbing and relaxing. Redmond itself has no shortage of great coffee shops, restaurants and local shopping.

Overall the spot was great. We are used to be in secluded areas, so being that close to someone's home was a little different.

Melissa’s property is lovely- green, seems like out in the country, when, in fact, it’s only a few miles from downtown Redmond. We parked our car and RV and biked to town for dinner. The highway noise was a little loud at times, but settled down at night. The RV pad was wonderful, with 50 amp power and potable water. (Melissa offered a converter to 30 amp but we had our own. The only thing we would have appreciated was a table to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

This property … ! What a gem just minutes outside the city of Redmond. Only one premium site and the hosts are delightful. Some road noise but it quiets down at night into the am. We plan on returning soon.

Way more reasonable rates than ones in Bend, and a shirt drive there if dont have to stay in downtown Bend. 50A type plug only, so bring an adapter if you have 30A. Everything was peaceful, and friendly hosts.
