New to the Hipcamp community!

I recently purchased this small acreage to pursue my dream of having a hobby farm.

A friend told me about Hipcamp so I decided to dedicate some land for you to have a quiet stay for one night or several!

Amenities aren't quite where I want them but  I have toilets, Trash cans and City water on a hose. Recently I added two portable fire pits, two shower tents with 5 gallon solar heated shower bags.

My farm is located just north of Burns, Oregon where the Oregon Outback begins! Public land activities are just a short bike ride or drive out of town.

We have hot springs (30 miles), Hiking, hunting, fishing, rockhounding, kayaking- you name it- it's here!

I look forward to meeting new people and building the site up to be better every year!

FYI, Even though my listing states there is only one site, Please know there is TONS of room for multiple campers! Just message me!

Thank you for looking and save travels!

We stayed 2 nights with one 6 year old and a 1 year old. It was great. A big open field for the kids to run around in. The field. Marilyn was great we had some generator issues and they helped us out.
We did not use any of the amities. We There a s a Porta potty water soap 5 gallon solar shower all very clean.
During the day we took the kids to the high desert swimming pool about a 5 min drive from camp.

Great place we’ll be back

Marilyn's land was very easy to find and access, close to downtown Burns. There were a half dozen other campers there when we arrived but it is a big, quiet field. Amenities were clean and provided as advertised. I would recommend camping here for you trip to Harney County.

Marilyns place was great! It might not be for everyone, there's a reason she calls it a pasture. But it was mowed, clean, porta potties were clean and wonderfully quiet. I heard two types of owls at night, and if you listened carefully, you could hear sandhill cranes in the distance and the red wing blackbirds would wake you up in the morning.
My bike got trashed with mud during a rare rainy day ride and she didn't hesitate to help me out by stretching a garden hose so I could wash things up.
This was a great, basic, quiet spot and I would highly recommend it.

Marilyn was an awesome host. Checked in when I first got there and also the next day after hearing about the tough race conditions. Everything was clean and they offered some great additions like fire pits, hose to wash off bikes etc. super convenient location. Highly recommend!

This was our first time at a Hip Camp and it was perfect for what we needed. Nice open space with great views of the sky and hills around us. Liked that it was fenced in it gives that little bit of extra feeling of safety at night. It would also be good for kids and pets and not worrying so much about them. Marilyn is great and everything was very clean. The porta potty was a great thing to have out there and very clean. Cute little string of solar bee lights inside the porta potty so you can see at night. We slept in our Jeep and we were able to enjoy some nice thunder and lightening, hail and rain, and wind, yet it was not too cold. Gorgeous skies and a great starry night. Very peaceful and quiet. Will be going back.

This is a really nice, open spot just outside of Burns, OR. Marilyn is very responsive and helpful. We really appreciated the porta potty. The pasture is fenced as well so our dog could run free and safely.

Just as the description noted, a mown pasture with a porta-potty (installed at a potentially awkward angle).
The stars were amazing, and if you park at the back of the pasture traffic noise is minimal.
The entrance gate needs better markings, we overshot it and had to turn around.
Heard coyotes several times during the night.

Sunset on the Paiute hillsFierce Subaru and tiny trailer.
