Group camping available on our 80 acre private property surrounded only by Mt. Hood National Forest. Beautiful meadow with stunning view of Mt. Hood and surrounding mountains. Camp in the meadow, wake up to deer and watch the sun rising behind Mt. Hood. Large communal fire pit. This is truly a unique camping opportunity for small or large groups. Feels like you are on top of the world away from it all. Great place to unplug and unwind...Year round creek access on property to cool off especially during the Summer months.
Our property is accessed through a 3 mile rough gravel forest service road with a few large potholes.
Vehicles with some ground clearance such as a truck or SUV recommended to navigate poorly maintained road. Please see other campers' reviews regarding the road up to the property...We've been traveling this road for several years and find it quite manageable ourselves (in a Tahoe and pickup truck). Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have before booking.

Beautiful site - this is the second time I have stayed. Love the view, and the incredible privacy - you really don’t see other people. The sites are in the trees and keep cool, or out in a field under the stars. Outhouse was super clean and non/smelly.
We couldn’t use the fire pit because of the burn ban but it is a beautiful one with big rocks behind it.
Recommend a high clearance vehicle for the road up - it’s no joke.

The perfect getaway from Portland for a few days. Hosts were prompt and informative with all the necessary info.
We were there during a new moon and the views of the Milky Way were stellar. I do astrophotography as a hobby and this was some of the best clear night skies I've had in years. Peaceful, private and phenomenal camping spot!
As for the road up, it is rough but if you know what you're doing, it's not a too much of a problem for lower clearance cars. We did the drive in a beater 2002 Saturn SL2. Watch out for the three ditches!
Also, the creek was dry, which is sad but understandable as we were there during a July heatwave. But just keep in mind in your water/trip planning during the summer!
We loved the spot so much and hope to be back again during another new moon.

Absolutely beautiful place. Everything about it is great. The views were beautiful during our stay.
Great for a big group and dogs. Ours dogs had a blast.
The host is super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to get there and for our stay.
The stat was remote, peaceful and ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. Highly recommend going, we will definitely be back. Thanks Rachel!

So peaceful and secluded. Perfect place if you want to getaway and recharge. Rachel was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed to find our way there. Parts of the 3 mile road are rocky/bumpy but we made it out in a Toyota Camry with no issues; just had to drive slower. Overall, it’s worth it!

This was an amazing trip! The site was so clean and the outhouse was great. A lot of room and the views were amazing! Can’t wait to go back. Only thing is the road is no joke! If you don’t have quite a bit of clearance I don’t think you’d be able to make it.
Incredible spot. Secluded and gorgeous. Well worth the short rocky drive up. The picnic tables, hammock were great touches and the view of Hood as the backdrop is stunning. Rachel was a lovely host, with spot on directions, and local tips. She even helped jump our car battery on super short notice, saving the day and the rest of our road trip. Highly recommend 10/10
This spot is well-worth visiting! It was perfect for our weekend getaway and easily accessible from the Portland-metro area. The one word of warning I would offer is about the forest road onto the property. We had several people in our group with low clearance vehicles, whose cars had a difficult time traversing the road. Even in an SUV you have to go 5 MPH or less at times. Prepare to drive very slowly on a dirt/mud road with large potholes and a lot of foliage. If you have a choice of all-terrain/4 wheel drive vs a smaller sedan/anything that rides low, choose the lifted outdoorsy vehicle!! But once you make it to the property itself, you've got a meadow, a view, and an outhouse to yourself that make the trek well worth it. We hope to return to this same spot in the future!
Enola Hill was beautiful, completely private and so well cared for! Rachel B was an awesome host and answered all our questions very quickly.
We are a “higher risk” family who needs to avoid contact with others as much as possible during this pandemic. This meant canceling our annual camping trips at our usual public campgrounds this spring and summer, very heartbreaking. Discovering Hipcamp and finding Enola Hill was a much needed morale booster and our first time out in 5 months! We felt so safe there. The outhouse was very clean, we brought Clorox wipes and they also provided Clorox wipes, and we didn’t have to worry about contamination from others. The meadow is huge and was a great space for our kids to explore and our dog to run. The drive up the mountain was doable in my minivan, but I wouldn’t be able to do it if it were muddy. Our other car was a 4x4, so if my minivan got stuck we still had a way out.
I highly recommend Enola Hill and we look forward to visiting again!
