Lovely creek view
This tent site has a pretty view of a bend in the creek with wildflowers on each bank. It is well set up and scenic. The rest of the camp resort is actually small and close together. This is not a bad thing: it’s just good to know that you will be next to the glamping tents, the RVs, and the cabins. The bathrooms, shower, water fauce were accessible, clean. While the price was a little steep, I don’t have any complaints over our set up. 1 weird thing was that the wildfire smoke was so terrible when we were visiting that we had to leave a day early. However, the staff at the camp denied the smoke to two different folks who called in asking about it. It was troubling to hear the receptionist deny how bad the smoke was given that the valley is completely covered in it with AQIs near 200.
Great family friendly site
Pricey for a tent site but a good location pretty close to Crater Lake. Great campsite right in the river. There are free showers, canoes, horseshoes and pickle ball. If you are looking for a great family friendly campsite this is a great one with a lot of amenities like a KOA. Don’t forget your bug spray the mosquitoes were relentless.
Clean site, convenient store, and well-maintained facility. The site is closer to civilization than I expected (you turn into the resort straight from the main road), so it was not a totally isolated experience. However, it does mean that the resort has a lot of conveniences and thus great for families / new campers.
Excellent tent camping site
Beautiful location by the creek and the tent sites had plenty of room. Canoe rentals for free and there is a small store with smores ingredients and firewood for purchase. Very quiet but there weren’t quiet hours posted so some of the other campers were up until around midnight with their radio playing. I slept with ear plugs. The site had its own firepit, BBQ, and picnic table.
