Chuck and Audrey's on the Alsea is a glampers dream, surrounded by wildlife on a beautiful river, this cabin is perfect for rest and relaxing, it has a deck over looking the Alsea river where you can swim , fish, bird watch or see elk graising in nearby fields and on occasions bear. The cabin sleeps 4 has a electric fire place, fresh spring water a small fridge, propane camp stove ( propane included) dishes and cookware , camp chairs, and a kureg coffee pot with gormet coffee. It has a TV and a large selection of dvds, For sleeping a loft with a queen air matress with a built in electric pump for easy fast inflation and freshly laundered bedding with extra blankets Fishing poles are not included fishing licenses can be purchased at rays market in waldport Oregon you must also understand current laws on limits.. Pets are welcome waste bags are provided, pets must have leashes for safety from the near by hwy. Outdoor propane fire pit next to the cabin . No shower but the river is steps away. Outhouse provided and cleaned after each guest. Garbage bags and trash cans are provided. No fireworks of any kind are permited. 11:00 pm is noise or music cut off. Be respectful of property and owners. You are responsible for cleaning up after yourself, guests and pets (leave no trace). It is 21 miles to scenic waldport where there are stores, restraunts, shopping and beautiful oregon coast beaches.

Great location in a national forest. Don't expect cell service and honestly who needs it when you are enjoying nature. Awesome little cabin and perfect for a family of two with pets or a small family. Everything you need is provided and there are great little extras all around like outdoor lighting, an outdoor seating area, portable gas fire ring and a wonderful camp chef cooking station. We really enjoyed our time here!
This is the best hipcamp so far hands down. Thoughtful host although we never saw them, it's a wonderful place to stay, they have thought of everything and made it feel as if you are family staying over. Thank you for a fantastic time. Can't wait to return.
The site was beautiful and they had everything we needed.
I let the hosts know my stay was a solo bday trip for myself, and when I got to the property I was surprised with cupcakes and a bottle of wine along with a sweet bday card they left for me. It was the sweetest gesture! In addition the cabin was so clean, left with instructions for the tv, and just overall fantastic. 110% recommend.

The view from the little cabin/shack is lovely and the space has several little thoughtful touches and an impressive movie collection for after-dark entertainment. The space was the perfect size for a couple. (Although we did take the air mattress down from the loft and put it on the floor, because my husband is 6'4" and the ceiling is a bit low in the loft, for us. For others I'm sure it would be fine.)
Overall, we had a great short stay. It's really handy not to have to haul all our camping gear!
It was a very beautiful view. Our hosts were very accommodating and had everything we needed. They went out of their way to make our anniversary special… We will be going back several times a year!
