Surrounded by all the activates you could think of. Includes discounts at OregonOutdoorSports.com. You can't beat the views from the knob. It is a farm so you also get the wonderful experience of animals. We have horses, chickens, cat, ducks, and dogs, white doves, eagles, deer and elk. Please remember to keep your dogs on a leash if they chase animals. We have portable toilets but will have a flush toilet and showers in August 2021. The ground to put a tent is either dirt or gravel, or clumpy grass. but haven't had a complaint yet about it. Thank you.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
To start off the property is beautiful. There is no complaint about where it is, or the scenery.
There were even two dogs of the owners that showed up which was a huge plus.
This was by far the most expensive hip camp we have done. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working the entire time. The owner gave us instructions to heat it, but I repeatedly did not work and at best got to 80°.
There's a sign as you enter the property that trespassers will be shot. There's also two different numbers on the mailbox so you can have some confusion if you're at the right address which doesn't add well with the first point. I decided not to use the porta potties after my group informed me they would prefer to use the trees.
Overall if the price was a third of what it was I would have been satisfied. Or if the hot tub had worked as advertised. There's also a giant pit that while not bothering us, is at least interesting.
Unfortunately we did not make it due to van trouble, however, the host has been very nice and accommodating saying we can still come back another time. We were SO looking forward to the trip and we can’t wait to do a makeup reservation in the future. Thank you Matt!
You can see all the stars
Had a good time with my family there definitely would do it again, Matt is awsome and helpful. The views are amazing and well worth it, specially at night.
Accommodations not accurate
The accommodations were not accurate to what was posted on the site. We booked this stay specifically for the teepee which was not at the site when we arrived. Upon asking we were told that it had blown down in a windstorm and was being repaired. We were told the message to let us know “failed” to go through, but we had received directions earlier that day. There was no attempt to resend any failed messages or to reach out through hipcamp messages.
In addition to the teepee, there were signs warning trespassers they would be shot at the entrance, a large hole in the ground that could have been dangerous for young children (with no signage or pre-warning of construction prior to arrival), and porta potties that were incredibly unsanitary. Based on the rest of the situation we didn’t feel comfortable knowing if the hot tubs were sanitary and didn’t feel incredibly safe. We left first thing in the morning, and would have found a hotel nearby for the night instead had we not arrived at 9 pm with three children and no idea of the area or where else to go. When requesting a refund, we were met with many excuses and claims of driving too fast (we had a trailer and very full car, there’s no way we could have been speeding).
However, the stars that night were beautiful as there was little light pollution, and the tree farm was pretty. Not somewhere I would recommend staying for the night.
The view here is absolutely beautiful. I came out with a couple of buddies and we loved everything about our stay. Matt was very knowledgeable of the area and more than accommodating. We're already planning another stay.
We had a great time! Matt was very nice and super accommodating. The hot tub and the view really made it an unforgettable trip and we're grateful to the host for providing such a unique spot to camp.
Overall a cool experience camping in a tee pee - though some of the amenities outlined in the listing were inaccurate.
There was no wood stove in the tee pee, we packed accordingly and were not cold, but it was a feature we were looking forward to using.
Access to potable water was not identified; there was a water hose next to the hot tub, that we assumed was the water source, but the hose was half buried in mud. I texted the host asking about access to the water, and got no response.
The hot tub was working – but the filters were visibly black, and my son and I had a red sensitive rash after getting out. Getting the cover on/off was a challenge, it had just rained and we had to maneuver through wet mud, set the cover on the ground, and then attempt to rinse off said mud with the water hose, that was cracked and not long enough to reach, while sinking in the mud while trying to lift the cover back on. (It was probably a very fun sight to see!! )
There was some construction being done, so there was a fairly large hole dug in the ground right near the hot tub, which was not a concern to us, just feel it is good to mention for families visiting with smaller children that like to toddle/wander off.
Views were great, we saw some animals, and none caused any harm/bother. There was plenty of space to roam around, it was mostly quiet, and we had a great time.
Thanks for letting us stay on your beautiful property. My only recommendation would be to those who travel there in the winter is to show up early and get the wood stove inside the tent cranked up because it was quite cold. We didn’t get to use the hot tub but would have if we planned better. Kyle meet us and graciously showed us to the site. You will need a mattress to sleep on since inside the tent is filled with gravel for drainage for run off water when it rains. So if you’re prepared it will be lovely. Thanks Matt and Kyle the view when the sun came up was amazing.
