***Will open for the 2022 season with two or three sits in the field, a Tepee, a Geodesic Dome, and (maybe) one bring-your-own tent site, one site across the gravel road reserved for RV/Van camping, no hookups.**** Expected opening mid-May (keeping calendar blocked off till I'm certain)

This is a large field on the corner of a gravel road shared with 3 neighbors, and Laurelwood--a fairly active country road.  My property continues up the hill across the gravel road, my house, along with my neighbors houses are visible from the field. Campsites also are all in line-of-sight from each other. Please enjoy the space together, respectfully. There is physical distance, but not much visual or auditory privacy. In 3 to 5 years a nice thick hedgerow will grow in and rectify this. In the meantime, be cautious of new plantings and saplings. It has been a wet spring, be aware the field may be mushy in places and expect some mud here and there. On the plus side, because of the wetness, it's safe to have propane stoves or firepits in the field at this point in the season. Please have a fire extinguisher present if you are using anything with a open flame, just in case as there's not a hose close in the field.

The field has been seeded for two years with wild flowers, becoming a pollinator heaven. Dragonflies, Monarch Butterflies, and various Bees can all be visible throughout the field. Weather dependent it is a drive in site, when it's wet the chances of getting stuck are high if you are a heavier vehicle, particularly only front-wheel drive. Please utilize parking along the edge of the gravel road, or feel free to come up my driveway and park on the shoulder between the driveway and the white shipping container.

Looking up the hill towards my house, if you see a blue sign, that is near the closest working spigot for water. The water comes from our well, and continues up the hill to our house, we drink it, but it's not declared potable by the county. Also along our driveway are a variety of fruit trees, please help yourself. There are Asian and Bartlet pears as well as choke cherries, and some apples and regular cherries on my neighbors side. Harvest any of the fruit you'd like. Also blackberries along the fence, all depending on the season. In Spring and early Summer ask me about trying some dried fruit from the trees the year before if you are interested.

From our property one could explore multiple vineyards and nature reserves within minutes by bike or car. There is Hagg Lake (9.5 miles) and Bald Peak State Scenic Viewpoint (4.7 miles) as well as ADEA Wine, Patton Valley Vineyard, Colene Clemens Vineyard, among many others within 20 miles. We are one hour from the Oregon Coast, and there are countless hiking trails and swimming spots within a hour in all directions.

We camped at this property for just one night. Celeste had set up a little table and chairs under a tent and left water and some other snacks and essentials. These are very caring hosts who will make sure you have a nice stay. I’d stay here again.

A really nice place to stay the stars or absolutely beautiful at night the fields is warm during the daytime but as the evening rolls around there's plenty of shade from some very tall cedars. I was given a tour and got to get some plums and pears to take with me for future snacks which was wonderful and I also got to see a hazelnut shrub which I've never seen in hazelnut growing before and that was very cool. No I was very cool and kind I'm super accommodating. Also they have goats which are super cute!

A very nice and easy place to tent camp. The field we camped in was mowed in sections to make sure there's ample space for tents big or small (plus room for parking). Celeste herself is a very helpful and lovely person, so don't be afraid to ask for anything you need!
With a name like stargazing field, you can be certain you'll be seeing all the beautiful stars in the sky.

Nice place to stay a night. Very quite and private. The field is open and you can clearly see stars if the weather is good. Celeste is an awesome host and very responsive to my questions.

The field was the perfect place for us to park our camper while we stayed with family in Beaverton. The rate was inexpensive and our camper was very safe. It was just as we left it when we picked it up four days later.

The host was super nice! We loved being greeted by 4 super friendly animals. There’s a port o potty available for use and a hand washing sink. The field is awesome to stay at, the view of the stars was gorgeous!
