A magical fairy wonderland!
Oh my! This place is like a magical little fairy wonderland! 💗✨
It was so calming listening to the flowing creek. Great camp spots set perfectly apart. Secluded, stunning nature, so very peaceful.
Highly recommend this to anyone passing through.
A perfectly flat spot designated for my van in spot #2 also!
Spacious private camping
I enjoyed my stay on Laurens property. It was beautiful, spacious, and private. I camped right next to the stream under some nice big trees. The huge field would be great for kids or just playing catch.

Nice setting but somewhat crowded
Overall we had a good experience, but felt a little misled as far as the campsite setups were. The setting at the bottom of the hill alongside the creek surrounded by enormous trees was great, with convenience to Mt. Hood and the surrounding area, but with most campsites occupied during our stay we didn't get the experience we were hoping for.
We were hoping for more peace and quiet and seclusion, and admittedly could've done a little more due diligence in our selection, but even after walking the area realized that the sites were quite close together, and you get the impression that other campers are watching you the entire time.
I would recommend this for multi-car/multi-family groups who don't mind other campers, but would not recommend for single-car groups looking for more seclusion.
Camping, hiking and biking
We had campsite number 1 next to the pond, which kept the area nice and cool it never felt too hot and all the trees provided a nice shade. Our campsite was spacious. There is a creek that our dogs were able to swim in. We hiked on the property to see the Mt hood view and it was gorgeous. Lauren was super nice and responsive. Sandy ridge was super close so we were able to go mountain biking. We could see the other campers and campsites but we couldn’t hear them there was good space between each campsite.

I was tempted not to review because I want this spot to stay a well kept secret! It is perfect. Beautiful, exceeded all expectations.
Pet-friendly, peaceful, relaxing!
Despite less-than-ideal rainy weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lauren's! The creekside spot was perfect for hanging out and relaxing with friends and our dogs. The directions were spot on. Sites were well numbered and parking easy to find. Found great sites to pitch our tents. The stream makes the most relaxing white noise to drown out any road noise or goings on of other campers. We especially enjoyed the well maintained and marked hiking trails on the property as well! A fantastic spot for those who have spent time in the backcountry and don't mind not having a formal toilet. Close to great BBQ at Skyway and just a short drive from the town of Government Camp and Hood attractions.
Lovely stay with pups!
We absolutely loved camping here! We camped right along the creek and loved falling asleep to the sound of it every night. Our dogs had a blast, and the setup is perfect for furry friends. Communication with Lauren was a breeze, super easy to get in and out, and liked being so close to downtown sandy without feeling like it! I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

So happy you and your family enjoyed your stay, Hannah! Hope to host you again soon!
You can see from photos how truly beautiful this place is. Truly a retreat💗 There are only 7 sites, far apart, all with access to river. Somewhat steep going in and out. And so close for exploring the gorge, Mt Hood, Portland, etc.

Thank you for the beautiful photos, Janice! It was a pleasure hosting you both and look forward to your return someday.
