Located right off Hwy 26, directly in between the city of Portland and the peak of Mt. Hood, you'll find the most peaceful corner of the Pacific Northwest for you to pitch your tent or park your van. We are conveniently located just 7 minutes from downtown Sandy, known for its food trucks, outdoor gear shops, and the famous Joe's Donuts. Though we are right off a busy highway, all you'll hear are the tranquil sounds of Cedar Creek's flowing waters and the chirping birds who live in the cedars overhead. The small clearings throughout the property provide natural privacy for our campers, and the 37 acres sprinkled with trails and ponds offer exploration and a sense of wonder we hope you'll enjoy.

Beautiful property
Lauren’s property is picturesque, with beautiful creek running though the center of it. We loved exploring the hiking trails with our kiddo and pup. We stayed in campsite #2 by the bridge. It had great creek access for playing in the water, and big trees that kept us shaded through out the day. Lauren was super responsive when I had a couple questions. We are already talking about when to come back.
Beautiful location, a Labrador paradise!

Aww love the photos! Glad your pup got to cool off in the water. :)
My trip to Creekside Retreat exceeded all my expectations. The land was beautifully maintained and most sites were right next to the creek. I spent the first night in site #2 which is right next to the bridge, so if the campground is full, you’ll have cars going by to sites 4-6. I extended my stay one night &
moved to site #7.
The stargazing was gorgeous & each site has fire rings with the option to purchase wood when you arrive. The other guests were friendly & respectful of noise restrictions.
Directions & communications were great and Lauren came down with her dog Juno to meet me.
I brought my 3 terriers and they had a great time. Most people had their dogs with them, so it made for a fun weekend.
There is a cell service that is very reliable.
You can get into the creek easily but the water was pretty darn cold. Makes for a refreshing dip!

Love these photos! Thanks so much Peggi, it was lovely to meet you and your little pack. Looking forward to having you back in a few weeks!
Lauren is an outstanding camp host, very communicative and the property is absolutely gorgeous! I've never camped on grass next to a creek, it was beautiful. The hiking was a success, without any worry of getting lost, and very fun to explore. We lucked out and had it mostly to ourselves since we were there midweek, which was perfect, since our site (4) would not have been very private otherwise.
Fantastic family spot close to Portland with so much to see and do for the littles. They have 9 sites and they were full of friendly campers. We walked the trails and enjoyed the creek.
The driveway could use some mirrors for visibility and all wheel drive is recommended!
Thanks for a great stay.

Thanks Emilie! Yes, agreed on the mirrors. They've been ordered :)
Great stay with amazing hosts
Great location just outside of Sandy and close to Mt. Hood. The property is located down from the main road a bit and is very private, just other folks camping out. The property is beautiful and plenty of space between sites. Hosts were prompt with communication and provided excellent directions. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the feedback, Tyler! I'm so glad you and the fam had a nice time. Hopefully I'll be in town next time you guys are here :P
This land is a special spot. Has a truly magical peaceful feel. I will return for a solo camp trip to have some time being inspired by the vibe. Highly recommend this camp ground. Bring a portable potty. And respect the land. It’s a beauty!!

You're the best. Thank you Heather! Can't wait to have you back.
Wonderful camping space
We were only there for a night, but had the best time and got to experience the community and space that Lauren is building. The land feels off the beaten path enough to really unplug and very safe, yet close to Sandy and all the hikes. Do make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you’re going to tow something heavy. I learned the hard way 😬
