Perfect for families
This setup is ideal for young families like ours ( kids 3, 5, 7). Several locations available in the property to setup camp so camping with a party of 2-3 families would be comfortable. The kitchen, shower and port-spotty setup was very convenient (creature comforts). Brenda was excellent in communication and accommodating once we arrived.
We had a great weekend at Brenda and Tim’s! Their property is beautiful! Camping near the creek which it’s a great place for kids to splash around and play. We took the dogs for a walk on a few of their many trails on the property. There is a great fire pit area, a covered kitchen area with a sink with hot water and tables, toilet AND a hot shower (Indoor and one outside)! We camped just the weekend and I had no intentions of showering but I checked it out our last night and it was perfect! The outdoor shower is a great option to rinse off the kids. They have a couple of spots to plug in if you bring an RV. They were great hosts and it was a great weekend!
Family fun in the woods
Very nice setting with a stream for lots of water fun for kiddos and plenty of spaces for tents and motorhome/trailer. If you bring a motorhome or trailer, 110 available near group cooking/eating shelter. Bring converter & extension cord. Bring firewood for group campfires. Hot water available for washing dishes and showers.
Quiet and beautiful
The property looks just like it does on the site, clean and beautiful. There are private trails all over the property to walk and explore. The shower building looks brand new and is perfect! We had a good time.
Wonderful kid haven!
Brenda was a wonderful host for our two night stay. This property is a kid’s dream with crawdads, swimming holes, goats, pigs, and trails and a parent’s dream with potable water, shower and kitchen.
Just about as perfect of a Hipcamp experience as it gets. Beautiful property, friendly host that goes way above and beyond. It was perfect for our kids to visit the farm and see all the animals. Campfire spot next to the river was great. Happy adults and kiddos. Thanks Brenda!
Great for a few families with kids!
We had a wonderful visit, the space was perfect for our two families with toddlers. Brenda is a friendly and amazing host. There’s lots to do on site with easily walkable trails, visiting farm animals, and playing in the creek with provided life jackets and toys for the kids. Even when we had some rain the well built shelters offered proper coverage to stay dry. The main house is directly across from the primary camp area but never felt intrusive and only added to the feeling of good hospitality. The tiny cabin is near the main camp and was not booked during our stay, so added to the privacy of our space.
What a wonderful place!
What a wonderful place! Brenda's land is a great place to enjoy nature while gathering with loved ones. The hosts have been thoughtful with their extra touches including two covered structures with picnic tables, a sink, pottable water, porta potties, a fire pit and chairs, a warm shower and some dishware. The space is huge with lots of places to camp and trails to explore. Brenda even gave us a farm tour. We would love to come stay here again one day!
