This ranch is nice and quiet. There is running water and bathroom as well. The hosts are quick to respond and very friendly. I didn’t get to see them but I was told that the elk will visit on occasion.
The meadow where the camp sites are located is very quiet. We were there during a full moon and it was gorgeous. The ranch is easy to find. It’s a quick drive to Gold Beach.
Great spot on a picturesque horse ranch next to the Rogue River. We loved meeting the horses, cows, dogs, cats and chickens that live on the ranch, as well as Bonnie, the amazing woman who runs it.
We parked next to a babbling brook with views of stately cypress trees lining the drive and horses in the pasture beyond. It is a quiet and peaceful place. A good reminder of how life should be.
wow. i’m speechless. the most beautiful property. not to mention Bonnie is so kind. i don’t even know how to express how amazing this morning was for me. will absolutely be staying here again. Thank you SO much Bonnie!!!!!!!!
Tranquil getaway under the stars
Beautiful piece of property to wake up to! The horses, pups, & chickens greeted us on our morning walk and it reminded me of where I grew up. Wish we could've stayed longer.
Beautiful ranch near the coast
Bonnie and Chris are delightful hosts and the ranch is in a beautiful setting with easy access to both the Rogue River and the ocean. It is a working ranch with many horses and a host of wildlife, including elk that came and grazed the meadows in the evening.
Beautiful and inspirational
Beautiful setting. Wonderful hosts. Inspirational story of the work they do at the ranch. Glad we found this place just a mile off of highway 101. Feel good that we helped support their ministry.
I should have shopped around more. Of all the places I camped on this trip this one was the most expensive with the least amount amenities. I don’t blame them for the weather, which made it impossible for me to tent camp a second night in fact it was a good thing because the second night not only did it rain but there was thunder and lightning. What bothers me is no word was mention to refund my money for the second night. It wasn’t like other campers were waiting in line to tent camp in their field. The description of this campground said something about no need to shower just jump in the Rogue River. I wasn’t planning on jumping in the river but I would love to have gone down to the public access. I drove up and down the road for miles and found no public access. I wish the description was truthful. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
