Places to see near Bonnie P.’s Land
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Had the place to ourselves for 3 nights. Beautiful ranch, camping is in a large field. Not much privacy between spots (which are maybe 50 ft from each other), but again, if it's not busy, it's not an issue.
Met and talked with Bonnie a couple times. Nice lady.
About 5 min to Gold beach, 30 min to Brookings.
Beautiful land, amazing scenery, easy to get to, great communication, cell service was in and out for us, but enough to get our plans for the next day in order. Otter Point is a 10 minute drive and a beautiful spot to watch the sunset!
Beautiful working horse ranch
Nice views for sunrise and sunset.
Great directions to not just the property but campsite within the property. Campsites are identified with marked posts with small solar LED light and welcome letter. The letter included rules and directions for coffee in the morning!
The fenced pasture that is the campground is flat but there is a drop from the road going in.
Suggest you get out of vehicle and check this out…don’t just barrel in!
Untreated spring water and trash can (serving several sites. Water is not for hooking up). The nearby town of Gold Beach has a free public dump station near their municipal building.
Idyllic farm: come camp with elk.
Beautiful farm in a giant valley with stunning old trees and elk who regularly hang out in the next field. The field you stay in is enclosed with split rail fence and bordered by a dry creek bed and the driveway to the active and working stables. Great water hook up but no power. There was also garbage and a porta. Lots of level spots and a picnic table. So many hikes and things to do nearby and it's very close to town but far enough away to be pretty quiet. There are six spots in addition to 2 yurts, and only three were occupied when we were there, but it could get crowded (esp the porta) if it was full capacity.
Great spot for an overnight
Great spot for an overnight on our way up the coast. We didn’t see a way to get to the river but the horses and hills and sunset and stars were beautiful. No visual separation between campsites but lots of space between them. Very quiet the whole time we were there (except for another camper’s generator which ran for an hour or so). Would definitely stay again.
