You can also learn the feeding, health and housing needs of all of our farm animals the next morning if you choose to add on a Morning Chores package (late spring, summer or early fall only and only if we have availability). The animals are always happy to see folks, especially with food in our hands. - Firewood for fire pit $6/bundle (unless there is a burn ban). We will provide kindling and wood. You please bring matches, lighter, fire starters, paper, etc. and you lay it up and start the fire. Please be sure that it is doused out, out, out with water when done!
- Hay ride $40. This takes about a half hour.
- Morning Chores package $50 for up to four people. $5 extra per person past that and maximum of 8 people. During this program, you will have an opportunity to meet the animals up close in their farm homes and learn to feed and care for all the farm animals. Ask us first before scheduling please.
- Horse back riding lesson is $50 per hour per horse and one staff person or we can do two mini lessons for two people in that time.
- Drive with Scalloway, our American Miniature horse, in a harness and cart $60. This takes about an hour.

Fun farm experience
I came with my 10nyear old who loves animals. She enjoyed being able to go say hello to the cow or the donkey wherever she wanted. We did the farm chores add on which she loved. It was fun to get closer to the animals and help care for them. This is exotic stuff for a city kid! The cottage is small, mainly a sleeping space. It worked well for the two of us for 'glamping' and I appreciated havjng a fridge. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.
Great little tiny house surrounded by animals. Easy check-in experience with the groundskeeper, met all my expectations. The solar shower was refreshing :). Great one-night stopover, and a place I'm considering another visit to as part of our homeschooling experience next year.
