Cute vintage rustix trailer for a cozy night sleep. Partially off grid with no kitchen/bathroom facilties but water jug/cooler provided and camp toilet. Nice little fire ring and chairs. Super quiet and lovely to sit outside
Awesome place, gracious hosts, swee
Beautiful property! Camp host was extremely friendly and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to grab supplies when she went into town, very gracious. Lots of amenities for a small place, electricity, good sized refrigerator, nice microwave, even a keurig with coffee provided! Heater in the rv was more than enough to keep the inside cozy, and there’s a great fire pit outside to warm up and wait for the awesome view of the stars late night. Fun little walk amongst really cool rock formations with views of the mountains in every direction. Also, very friendly chickens! Will be back.
Our stay was great! We were in Bend most of the night but came back to camp and had a fire later in the evening. It was quiet and quaint. Our dog was able to run free which was nice. We just needed a bed to sleep in for the night and we were happy with our stay!
Good and bad…
We knew going in this wasn’t going to be the best experience, but you get what you pay for. Our stay was 2 nights and here is the good and bad.
Good.. peaceful and quiet. The hosts do a good job at telling you what they provide and don’t.
Bad… I’m a tall guy so sleeping wasn’t the best and my wife had to sleep on the top bunk. Wasn’t ideal but made it work. Heat of summer, means hot in cabin (expected).
Quiet, peaceful, and solitude
It was beautifully peaceful there. We arrived late our 1st night there, basically made our bed and went to sleep, but it was nice that a trailer was provided and we did not have to set up a tent or anything in the rainy dark of night. Fire wood was provided. We met a fellow traveler that was staying there as well, nice guy. we loved waking up to the moos of cows and whinny of horses. Plenty of space and solitude, clean, and the host was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this spot to friends and family.
