Pilialoha is a very generous and thoughtful host with a big heart. As is her assistant Eric with a big heart and soul. We really enjoyed being on the land they have lovingly tended. We are so glad we found this special space!
Super cute property with very nice hosts! All very welcoming and accommodating! The property is super close to a lot of cool spots to explore or is a decent drive to wherever you are going! Would visit again!
We absolutely LOVED staying here in our pop-up camper. Everything went SO smooth. It is such a beautiful place to camp among the trees. Lots of room. Will definitely be staying here again when we're up in that area.
The site we stayed in was an open area with a large slash pile in the middle of it. It had a nice view of the foothills and got to see the Milky Way at night. We were told that this open area was actually 8 sites which would not be private at all if it were full. There were some smaller areas available also. The lack of amenities, the high price and lack of privacy if it were crowded was not an ideal situation but ok in a pinch.
Philaloha is very friendly. Her land is lovely. But the cost per night is ridiculously high. The outhouse is very funky. It feels as if it could fall down in a strong wind. I wonder if anyone has tried using the outside shower. So basically, there aren't amenities.
This was my first Hipcamp experience since campgrounds were full. I'm not sure if this is the norm.
Beautiful property and a great host
Pilialoha was a very accommodating host and the forest and garden were amazing on the property and I would like to return for another camping trip.

Pilialoha was such a wonderful host. When we arrived, she gave us a tour of her property and let us pick the spot we wanted to set up camp. She has an amazing garden and invited us to pick veggies and enjoy the swimming hole. There are several lakes nearby where we fished and floated. We would love to come back again!
Pilialoha was a lovely host and her veggie garden is divine. There is no shower and WiFi is available only for extra pay, so I was a bit disappointed. However I did have an incredibly peaceful night’s rest— one of my best in a while— so there might be some darn good juju in this place.
