The site, and the property was incredibly beautiful.
Pristine, and sureal..what a great experience.
Highly recommend this place...so clean.
I still feels really wild out there..
Very positive experiance.
The hosts Andrea and Jacob were so kind and helpful, consummate professionals.
Beautiful fall visit
We had a great time staying at White Wolf Acres. Jacob & Andrea have a lovely hobby farm with chickens, bees and sweet dogs. We were there on an overcast weekend but that only made the beautiful fall leaves pop even more. There was so much land to explore in the forest and the road was a really lovely walk with no traffic. The wheelbarrow of firewood was very convenient and you can't beat the view of the water from your tent.
Return trip as good as the first
Another great stay in this beautiful spot. Hope we manage to get back one more time before the really cold nights set in. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a recharge. The campsite is well maintained and the hosts are super friendly. Love it!
Peaceful, amazing and pleasant
Amazing Amazing. Jacob and Andrea were so pleasant to talk to. They were absolutely accommodating and took the extra mile to bring us more dry firewood when ours were wet.
I stayed there for one night with my son and other friends and will definately come again.
The place is very nice and peaceful beside the small lake.
It is just less than an hour from Ottawa.
Thanks Jacob and Andrea for the good time
Cute spot for a getaway
This was a very quiet property, with lots of space.
Jacob and his wife were very welcoming and helpful during our stay, their dogs must get their friendliness from their owners. The firewood bundle is a great deal as well.
Beautiful scenery, we saw lots of frogs, some bats and squirrels. Bugs weren't too bad at this time of year, and amazing stargazing on a clear night ⭐
Only thing is, they have a rooster, so earplugs highly recommended! I wore them on my second night, and didn't hear the morning crowing at all.
We saw why it's called "White Wolf Acres", very clever indeed!
Wonderful experience in nature
We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Jacob was extremely friendly and very professional from before the trip even began. He answered all our questions and concerns, and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. The location is amazing, offering plenty of comfortable secluded space, and is very well taken care off without disrupting the natural area. Lots of roaming space, with open grassy fields, and shaded woods. There are some rough trails as well, but we hiked around without following them and had no issues at all exploring and making our way back. Jacob has multiple dogs that patrol the zone, they do not disturb you, but they maintain a parameter around Jacob's house. We could see them in the distance every now and then walking outside, so it definitely makes the area feel safe too. No animals would dare walk up on us. We also kayaked at a river just down the road that leads up to a lake. If you're going on the reiver, make sure you head out towards the lake, and not away from it as that side will lead to a waterfall drop. On-route to the lake there were 2 beaver dams but they were very easy to cross over. Overall we had a great time, and will definitely be coming back for more! Thank you Jacob, and those dogs definitely earned some treats!
Wonderful first hipcamp experience
For our first Hipcamp experience, this could not have been better. The secluded waterside site is beautifully maintained, with a well-designed fire pit and a clean outhouse. Our hosts were super friendly and great communicators, and left a wheelbarrow full of wood on site for us before we arrived.
Plump chickens, bees buzzing, dragonflies, friendly dogs, peace and quiet... what more could you ask for? We will be back!
