The Taiga was everything we hoped for our anniversary, even with the heavy rain for the first couple hours. Luckily, Jenny and Leo drove us and all our supplies, to our site, in her fantastic new Polaris. The tent site was absolutely beautiful, made even more so with all the leaves falling! Inside the tent, it was comfy, spacious and most importantly, completely dry! The addition of a small propane or kerosene heater for cooler/wetter times would be a bonus but we were fine without, thanks to additional blankets that were provided in the tent, and a sleeping bag that we brought with us.
Overall, the experience was amazing and so restorative! We will definitely be back again next summer and can't wait!!
Thanks again Jenny and Leo!

Spent a night here for our anniversary and it was the perfect relaxing and romantic getaway we had hoped for. Visiting with the rescue highland cattle was the highlight of our trip. But the games, trails, hot tub and peacefulness of the campsite made the entire experience amazing. Would definitely recommend visiting this property if you are looking to relax, reconnect and rewind.

We had a great little vacation from the city for 3 beautiful nights at this camp. Accommodation were nice and clean , we had access to a little kitchenette/bathroom with a short walk from the tents. A little bit of firewood was provided. The property was a pleasure to explore and we really loved getting to use the hot tub!

Definitely would recommend for anyone looking to escape city life but still have some luxuries like a cute tent and comfy bed!

We had a lovely stay at The Taiga over the September long weekend. The property is beautiful with so many places to relax and take photos, with all of the picnic areas set up the options are endless! The garden is beautiful and delicious! And of course the cows and dogs are so cute! Our tent was lovely and very comfortable. We had a lovely time relaxing in the bed listening to nature or enjoying the chairs outside reading a book. There is so much to explore and we felt very relaxed. There are hammocks all around the property which you can just jump in and relax. Jenn and Dani are doing a great job and having only been open less than a year they have many wonderful things set up.

There are a couple of things that should be added in the future that would make the stay at Taiga even more comfortable. The bathroom is a little far from the tents, so if you need to go in the middle of the night it's not great, especially if it's raining. An additional bathroom closer to the tents would help a lot, especially if someone has any stomach issues! Also the addition of a small portable stove top in the common area with some pans would help as well as we couldn't really cook a lot of the food we brought in just the toaster oven, especially for breakfasts. And the listing did say there was a stovetop/hotplate. The bbq is charcoal which is great, but if you don't know how to use a charcoal bbq that may cause some people an issue when wanting to bbq, it might be good to note that it is charcoal in the listing.

Overall we had a really lovely relaxing stay at The Taiga and if you are looking for a relaxing camping/glamping get away then this is a lovely place to relax and reset.

The Taiga experience definitely exceeded our expectations. Jennifer greeted us as soon as we arrived, gave us a tour of the grounds and helped us get settled in our beautiful tent! We unpacked and decided to explore some more, picking veggies from the gardens, trying out the many hammocks hung throughout the property, meeting the highland cow rescues, hiking the trails, and eventually cooling off in the outdoor shower. It rained most of the evening but we took shelter in the kitchen, cooking dinner and playing games. The tent kept us dry all night. There is just something magical about hearing the rain fall on the tent while drifting off to sleep in the forest. The next morning was spent relaxing and checking out the yoga programs that the site has to offer. We definitely recommend this unique and very special experience.

One of the seating areas at Taiga tent #1 - we loved hanging out in these swings, and just taking in the peace and beauty of the forest. We also found another spot to sit back and take in the peace and tranquility of this property. There is definitely no shortage of great spots to sit back and relax in.This was my favourite spot to cozy up and read a book - tent #2Inside tent #2, so cozy and elegant...it had everything we needed.

Jennifer is a wonderful host, she made us feel very comfortable and at home. Their property is stunning, and has all of the amenities you need, I had a great time checking out all of the trails and stopping by to see the sweet rescue cows. The site felt very secluded and private while still just being a short walk from the main property. For being such a short drive, the area itself was so peaceful and quiet, and there are many things to do in the surrounding areas. Can't wait to go back & would definitely recommend!
