Located in the hamlet of Mosborough on 113 acres, this is a working farm with open fields, an old orchard, and 27 acres of forest. It's very private, 3 campsites are spread out on 4 acres of grass. Sunrise and sunset views are incredible. The farm is located near an active rail line, but train activity is limited. If you're lucky you'll hear the coyotes at night and see some wild turkeys running around. Deer are regular visitors to the area and several hawks can be seen on the hunt. We are a short drive to Guelph Lake, the Elora Gorge, Guelph to Goderich rail trail, and a 25-minute drive to St Jacob's farmers market. And a 1.4 km walk to a small country market and bakery. A great site for families that you can call home and plan day trips around the area, or hang out at the campsite. Firewood available for purchase on site. Please note: the toilet is unavailable after October 6.  It will return mid June next year.

Our group of friends had an amazing time here! Very private and secluded. A nice little getaway just outside of the city. We definitely will be back.

Feel like you’re in the middle of nowwhere but minutes from anything you could need. Next to an apple orchard and a huge corn field, beautiful to see the sunrise over the field. Very quiet, except when the trains go by on the other side of the trees. Large spacious sites, however, site 2 is difficult to get a large rv into….mentioned this to Jason and he has plans for leveling the entrance to the site. Will definitely be going back❗️

This campsite is beautiful! We rented campsites 1 and 2; and, we stayed 3 nights and 4 days (from August 5-8th). Campsite 1 was a bit smaller than expected, but campsite 2 was big enough to pitch 6 tents, and for recreational activities (badminton, volleyball, etc). The landscape is lovely, and the campsite lives up to its name (Secluded Starry Nights).

Jason was very polite and responsive with any questions, inquiries or needs that we had. There is also a seasonal camper on site 3, and he was also very friendly and helpful.

As others have said, there are trains that pass by - on the other side of the campsite - night and day. However, it wasn't too much of a bother for our group. There are apple trees on the sites, and apples fall periodically. Bags of firewood are available for purchase, which is very useful if you would like to use the firepits. The only thing that we would have liked is if garbage bins and recycling were available. Compost is available, but be prepared to take your trash bags with you.

Other than that we had a wonderful time, and we would reccomend to others. We will definitely be back.
