We had a wonderful time at the cottage!!
Mark was there to greet us (as per our request, but there is a lockbox for self check in) and we had a great time chatting with him about his plans for the property.
The cottage is quite large and could easily accommodate 1 large family or a couple of smaller families/groups. We slept in the semi-private bed off of the main room because the views there were too perfect to pass up. You truly feel like you're sleeping in nature but with the comfort of a warm and soft bed!
The entire place was very clean and clearly loved. The kitchen had plenty of cookware/utensils/dishes which made packing nice and light. There is a tv in one of the bedrooms but you'll probably be out exploring the area for most of your visit anyways! There are also plenty of books if you happen upon a rainy day!
Finding the property is easy (as long as you don't use Waze) but felt a bit strange at first! Just follow the gravel entrance at the No Exit sign (off of the neighbour's driveway) like the photos show and follow it down until you reach the property. You will drive on grass but don't worry, you're in the right spot!
The best part of the property is how quiet it is! You can hear traffic from a bridge near by but its seldom you'll hear a vehicle. The stars at night were definitely a highlight for us!
