Eve's land was an awesome place to go and unhook for the weekend. The turkeys, ducks and chickens were very entertaining along with the cows. The river also provided us with entertainment as my adult kids and I caught crayfish.

I would definitely go back.

Site 2 was tucked away, complete with a picnic table and fire pit. We were able to drive right up to the site, after negotiating through the barn yard gate, past the chickens, geese, ducks, and turkeys! The surroundings were pleasant fields and forest. It proved to be a lovely getaway. I did not make it down to the creek, as the incline was too steep for me to negotiate, but I would have if I could have! Very picturesque.

Thank you for the feedback. There are actually two paths to the creek. One is steep and the other is an easy walk. I wished I would have known so that you could have enjoyed the creek.

Absolutely loved our stay on Eve’s property. Plenty of space and privacy, large fire pit W/ various racks for cooking, gorgeous walking trails and creek area. The chickens and other birds were so fun to feed and entertaining to watch. The cows are giant puppies who loved a good ear scratching. The location was prime for privacy as well as not far if you need anything from the store. Eve was very welcoming and delightful. We absolutely recommend and intend on returning as soon as we can!

I had a rough experience, but I blame myself as a first time camper, I wasn't super prepared, supply failure, and the weather got colder than I anticipated. I cut my trip short, I stayed for only 2 days and 1 night, I was supposed to stay for 3 nights, but had to leave.

That said, the amenities and grounds had some issues, the outhouse was stocked, but didn't have a lock on the inside, but I was alone, and improvised though. The toilet didn't flush properly; you have to manually put water in the tank. I was in a camp ground in a field shared by a chicken coop and as you can imagine, it was messy. The emu kept pecking at my tent. The owner was nice and pleasant, but kinda hands off. There was plenty of water, and firewood. It was quiet and peaceful. I didn't really explore the camp grounds, didn't tour around 🤷‍♂️.

I had a mixed exp. I'd say the trip was affordable, and it was my first time camping. I gained perspective, and that's priceless.

This was our first Hipcamp experience and we loved it. It was an adventure towing our trailer through the two pastures and trying not to let the larger animals into the second pen - we did end up letting in a bison and two pigs! We called Eve to let her know and she sent a neighbour to help us move the bison back. The pigs were loving the bins of bird feed so we were able to coax them back to the larger pen on our own. I love animals and by the end of it I felt like an amateur farmer! Eve has a wonderful variety of chickens, turkeys, geese, and the emu. Sometimes they wandered over to the trailer but were never a problem. Our most frequent friend was Twelve (emu), he was friendly and curious but loved anything shiny so beware what you wear. Eve was a wonderful host and gave us food to feed the animals. The entire property is gorgeous, especially the walk through her gardens and down to the creek.

We took site #1 , not site #2 because site #2 only accommodated a tent. Site #1 itself just accommodated our 22 ft trailer and required some blocks to level; we are not sure a bigger trailer would be easy to get in. It had also rained during our stay and we needed to use 4WD and several tries to get out of the pasture.
