The various campsites are well distanced from each other, offering privacy and emersion into the landscape. Site one is the closest to the main road, and site 5 is the most removed and quiet. We are a great place to plant roots and use as a base for exploring the entire County.

The 110-acre estate is a previous farm that has been overtaken with Red Cedars at the front of the property, and also has a mature forest at the rear of the property. It has become a sort of refuge for wildlife. Deer, bunnies, and even Coyotes roam freely on what has over the past 20 or 30 years become a young forest. This is a place of quiet reflection. however, it is also a great place to reunite with loved ones over exciting conversations, music and drinks over the flame of a campfire.
We are in close proximity to the first and most prominent vineyard in PEC. (Wauppos Estates). They have some of the best wine you will find here, and spectacular gardens on the lake with a south-facing dock. Grab a glass of wine and wander the grounds. They also have a petting zoo, ice cream and a market where you can grab food, drinks or some fresh local produce. Nearby there are blueberry and strawberry fields where you can pick your own fruit.
Cycling distance to the #2 attraction in the county (Lake on the Mountain) with the most spectacular views. The Miller House and the Inn at Lake on the Mountain sit between two lakes and provide an amazing vantage point. They offer great food, coffee and beer set to relaxing summer music.
County Cider has a phenomenal south view of Lake Ontario, and you can have a pizza and apple cider that they produce on-site from apple trees that are generations old.
Cressy Mustard has a great patio with local beer, and Harry's food truck that is run by Chef Grant van Gameren.
Picton is only 10 minutes away, and there you can find Metro, No Frills, The Dollar Store, LCBO, Canadian Tire, the Regent Theatre, and many bars, restaurants and cafes.

Nicholas was very kind and welcoming. The spots are nice and clean. Though, the night was quite pricey for what we have access to : No toilets or drinkable water. Just a spot to put your tent and car, that's it. It's good if you're in a hurry to find a place for the night since it's instant book.
Very cute and charming camp site.
Loved the location, only 10 minutes from Picton but still felt far enough away from the super touristy areas.
Felt very private even though there are a few camps on the property.
We had #4 which was closer to the street than anticipated, so you can hear cars go by (but there’s not very much traffic and the road is still far enough to be comfortable) so next time I’d try to select a camp that is further from the street.
Since it’s in a clearing the view of the stars on a clear night is really incredible.
Had a great stay. We really appreciated Nicholas and how he he was accommodating /flexible. The property is peaceful and close to Picton and Lake on the Mountain.
