We enjoyed the wildlife (Bald Eagle, Woodpeckers, Beavers, Geese, Ducks, Deer and the nightly Coyotes singing in the distance). Secluded area, no one closebye, saw few people, relaxing experience. We fit 2 big tents and there was room for more. The sun rising over the marsh at dawn brought warmth as we sipped our coffee. Would camp again here in a minute, Gordon was vested in insuring we had everything we needed, which was firewood as its cold camping in November. Thanks again Gordon, hope to not see you again. Ha!

Out of the way and no cellphone signal, but that’s why u go camping right? Spent Friday touring the area of Kingston, Stirling and Marmora, then back to camp for supper. Spent the next day touring Westport and Perth area and back before dark to make supper and retire for the night. Quiet road with little to no traffic. Campsite was as described and pictured.

We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend and the site definitely didn't disappoint! It is secluded, well maintained and the "supply cache" was a thoughtful touch! Eager to stay here again when we can!

Great spot and great host. When we arrived the outhouse was stocked with the necessary essentials and I was surprised to find a tarp and bug spray for our use. In the 24 hours we were there, I believe we may have had 5 cars pass in total. I’ll be revisiting again.

You guys were troopers and clearly experienced campers to tough out the rain the way you did! Bravo

I can't say enough good things about this Hipcamp location - Gordon was an exceptionally accommodating host, answering my endless questions before we arrived and then ensuring all was well and we were enjoying ourselves.

Upon arrival we were wowed with the site - well maintained, nicely cut grass, a picnic table, and a nice fire pit to set up our chairs around. The provided firewood we opted to include with our reservation was dry and plentiful. It was super easy to back in our tiny camper into a perfect spot on the site facing the fire pit and the marsh.

A nice courtesy kit that contained some essentials as well as a first aid kid (both of which would certainly help out less prepared campers) was a nice gesture!

We had an absolutely epic weekend just sitting back and enjoying the solitude, listening to the birds, frogs, chipmunks, and staring up at the stars. If you're looking for a true off-grid back backcountry experience without the backbreaking hike into the backcountry, you'll love this site - just 10-15 minutes off highway 7, follow your GPS to the pinpoint provided, pull into the campsite, and you're ready to go!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will absolutely be back in the future. If you're looking for a great woodlands experience book the MarketRare Marsh with confidence! A great site and an equally great HipCamp host!

Beaver heaven. Like clockwork every evening between 6:30 and 7:30 we watched the local beaver family get to work.
Woke up every morning to choruses of birds! Spectacular sun and moon rises.
Propane 15 minutes away and fresh water down the road. Nice flat site. New picnic table. Fire pit complete with DRY wood, hatchet, extra tarp, lighter, first aid kit and hiking trail maps.
Gordon was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating.
Would definitely return again.
