Perfect site for halloween night
Thank you so much Gerry and Emily for your hospitality. Campsite #6 was perfect, especially for this time of the year. I had a fantastic time in the area and definitely would like to revisit the campgrounds and explore. Emily was an excellent host, and provided me with everything I needed for my stay. She went above and beyond when it came to giving me directions, and took the time to show me around once I arrived. The campsite (site 4) had an excellent view of the water, and was also very clean. I had a great stay, and would definitely book again.
The cutest little riverside spot!
I had a wonderful night staying here! I stayed in the off season so I had the whole place to myself. The sounds of the creek drowned out the traffic noise. It was incredibly clean and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, I would definitely return!
Amazing private camping spot!!! We’ve stayed at several hip camp places and this blew the rest away. We were there in the middle of the week right as it was getting colder, so we had the whole place to ourselves to explore, but there are no bad campsites here. The one we stayed at overlooked the river and we had beautiful sunrises, eagles and geese flying overhead, and the river rushing to put us to sleep. Emily and G were so friendly and helpful, and the firewood we got from them was more than enough for the two days we were there (your mileage may vary). The place is also close enough to a small town with all the shops you need for provisions (Metro, Canadian Tire, Dollarama) so it wasn’t too problematic that we forgot one very important thing we needed. Book here now - you won’t regret it at all!
