A wetland trail is half built! Eggs are available for purchase. Campers must stay on mowed areas only and not walk through crops. A very low VW Jetta has successfully accessed the site, but care is required on the laneway to sites!! Be comforted by the fact that your host is an avid and experienced camper who specializes in solos and kayaking. We have a "Pack it in, Pack it out: Leave No Trace" philosophy but if garbage becomes an issue, we are always here to help!
Our max is 4 people, but please advise if you are a larger family unit (max 3 adults). Your pet must be well behaved otherwise ours will get very upset!
Parking in Erin for the Elora Cataract trailway (trailway dot org) is only 3km away. Walk and bike, or treat yourself: Busholme (awesome food and patio), Bistro Dupain (authentic French baking) and Tim Horton's (authentic Canadian baking LOL) are 2km away. We are also located close to several accesses to the Bruce Trail, Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, Conservation Areas, Erin and Belfountain.
Build your fire and relax! We are here to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy Nature, the song of birds and the night sky. The stars are amazing!

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend camping on Kaytlyn’s beautiful farm land immensely! Peaceful, beautiful, private, no bugs (lucky us!!) and with Kaytlyn’s clear directions it was very easy to find. It’s a great location, just minutes away from Cambium Farms (where we had a wedding to attend) as well as close to many hiking spots! Kaytlyn was easy to contact and a very helpful host. We also loved Funny Foot Farm’s eggs, they were delicious and had such beautiful colours!

Found the grounds very easily. Kaytlyn was incredibly clear and responsive with her communication. Beautiful little spot, enjoyed the fire 🔥 and the full moon. Will definitely be back to enjoy more time in this special place. Lots of nature, birds and fresh air and privacy. Thanks again Kaytlyn
This campsite is quiet and isolated. You can enjoy your camping all the night. Kaytlyn is kind and supportive. She organizes and maintain the campsite very well with table and toilet. Don't forget to order the eggs from her farm. It is healthy !!!
As our second stay here it was just as lovely as the first! Even better actually! The lovely hosts have made a couple of upgrades to allow the campsite to be even more cozy! It has a great amount of privacy and the trees help with creating a nice amount of shade! i love the little bathroom area, so cute!😁hehe
This place is perfect if you want an escape from the city and see the stars in all their beauty!
I always love hearing all the wildlife surrounding, it never gets old! We Will definitely be staying here more often!
We’ve definitely found our little camping spot now and will be coming back as much as we can!!!!

Very touched to know how much the upgrades meant to you having an even greater experience!
We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The property is absolutely gorgeous, especially during the evening and morning. Kaytlyn was an excellent host and left us fantastic directions, instructions, etc. Just wish our stay could have been longer :-)

So glad you picked up on the special energy of Place! Hopefully you can come back and stay longer :)
Our stay was very peaceful. Kaytlyn was very helpful with tips before we arrived, and as other reviewers have noted, the bin of supplies with paper for the fire, lighter and cleaner were very handy. The toilet is private, surrounded by bushes.
The nearby wetland gave us lots of wildlife sounds to enjoy, as did the occasional rooster call (a novelty for us city dwellers).
It was super easy to grab the Elora-Cataract railtrail for biking a short 3km away, and grab delicious dinner at the Busholme in Erin, and yummy pastries and sandwiches for breakfast/lunch at Bistro Dupain as suggested.

Thank you Julie. What a great review of what we've got going here and near by.
Had a wonderful stay at Funny Foot Farm. The hosts left very helpful tips and firestarter. The toilet is private. The spot is very private and there were awesome wildlife sounds. We drafted on a super hot day and there were slices of shade we could cool off in. I'd definitely stay again to explore more of the Elora-Cataract rail trail by bike, along with more of the stunning Bruce Trail hiking nearby. We biked into Erin and had a nice meal at the Busholme. Bistro Dupain, suggested by hosts was delicious in the morning!

Did you hear the blue heron? It has been letting out a loud screech in the evening these past few days! I am glad you treated yourselves! Thank you for your kind words.
I really enjoyed this spot. It was secluded and quiet. My favorite part was oddly enough the toilet. I thought it was the coolest way to "go" in the woods. There were tons of flowers around the property which I fell in love with. The camping area was well kept and mowed, the firepit was ready for use. I love the small details the owners put into our stay including an information sheet about local spots to visit, toilet use, campsire safety and information about the property.

LOL! Thank you for your kind words of appreciation! (And for portraying your stay so beautifully in photos).
