We are excited to welcome you to our 156 acre property on the beautiful Tay River. This gorgeous acreage is situated along the South bank of the river with over 2000ft of frontage and multiple sites for campers to enjoy. Rolling hills, Protected Forests, Open Fields, Canadian Shield, and Eco-Thriving RVCA Wetlands with many trails and roadways connecting them all. Until recently this property had been in the same family for 150 years, and has seen many years of transformation while remaining very much untouched. There is an abundance of wild life that you will encounter as you roam the grounds! We kindly ask that you respect their privacy, as we are new to the grounds and intend on being good neighbours. The historic town of Perth is only 5 minutes drive East along Christie Lake Rd, with all the conveniences and amenities needed. Shops, restaurants, parks, art galleries, antique shops, and a bustling downtown will keep you entertained should you wish to make the trip into town. Christie Lake is an approx 10 minute drive West where you can enjoy the lake and boat launch. There is also a trailhead located close by along Highway 7. Great fishing on the Tay River, and surrounding lakes. Lanark County is a gem!

I had a great time camping on this beautiful property! The owners were easy to contact, clear and helpful, and the host on site was a great person who made me feel welcome and safe. Sites two and three along the river felt very natural and private. It might be harder for those with bigger tents or RVs to find a level spot but I had no problem. My dog and I enjoyed swimming, watching birds and wildlife, and exploring. Really appreciated the shared bbq and food prep area so I could keep a clean site and not have to worry about attracting bigger critters. Also, the portapotty was super clean and the cooling station let me wash my hair (and my dog) without contaminating the river.
Beautiful spots like this are so rarely accessible any more, especially so close to major towns and travel routes. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise!

Had a fantastic time on Drew’s property. The site was spacious, the waterfront was great and the Tay River a crystal clear, clean respite from the heat. Great facilities at Lot 1 too. Drew is always available to answer questions which made our stay extra relaxing. A little oasis less than 5 minutes from beautiful downtown Perth.
The site was as described, and the area is very beautiful and laid back. It really is just 5 minutes from Perth, and the gate and locks were well-maintained and easy to operate. Once you get onto the property, the river Tay is really beautiful. The view along the river looks like a postcard. You might see or hear the occasional group of tubers floating down the river, but Site 3 is up a steep slope so it stays nicely private.
One or two more signs to point out where the sites are would have been helpful but we found where we were supposed to be with only a couple of minor wrong turns. The portapotty was probably the cleanest we've ever been in, and although we didn't need to use the kitchen area, it was thoughtfully stocked. We'd gladly come back another time. Thanks!
Great spot! So much to do and see at this location, our family really enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were a pleasure to work with and communication was great. Would recommend for sure! We can't wait to go back
My boyfriend and I stayed at one of the campsites for 4 days and we would highly recommend it to anyone. It was a beautiful spoy along the tay river with amazing views. The host Drew was so helpful with any questions we had. The gazebo, charging station, BBQ and outhouses made the trip much more convenient and comfortable. The property has a alot of places to explore along the river and back into the bush. Very close to Perth if you need any supplies. We will be back! All the best Drew!
This place was great!!!
A great spot for a overnighter or more. It is so so close to Perth which makes it so awesome to explore the area. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating with all my questions and needs. The road to get to the place was a bit of a rocky adventure but easy to find none the less. The campsite was by the river I stayed at. Super spacious, amazing view partial shade, it was perfect. This place is just getting started and the future sights will be something to see. Will be back again for sure
