Rock House Ranch

If you like privacy, wildlife, nature, fishing, hills with a view, exploring, backroads, and being on a working ranch, we have the spots for you!

We have a unique old rock homestead on a hill in the middle of 210 acres to get away from it all! We opened the ranch for our first out of state visitors in late 2021. That went well so here we are open to the public! We call it Rock House Ranch and hope you enjoy the visit! All weather gravel road access with 2 gravel RV sites available for year-round camping. The property has seldom traveled county road frontage on 3 sides and our ranching neighbors to the west which makes this a truly relaxing getaway.

Hundreds of pecan trees dot the property for walking, exploring, mountain biking, and other activities. 8 stock tanks or ponds are located on the property along with a creek for catch and release fishing and water related activities.

Wildlife in the area include white tail deer (a lot of them!), turkey, hogs, coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, possums, waterfowl, birds, squirrels and all the other Oklahoma animals you expect!

We are located 8.5 miles NE of Coalgate, Oklahoma with easy access to the county fairgrounds, shopping, museums, and restaurants. Nearby attractions include the Cam’s Acre Race Site (drift car racing), Mowdy Mustang Ranch, and Coalgate Lake. We are also located a short drive from the Clarita Amish School Auction held twice a year.

Our area has miles and miles of backroads for exploring the beautiful countryside which is the foothills of the Ouchita Mountains to the east and located within the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
