Friendly host, adorable alcapas
Kathy was super friendly and accommodating. The alcapas were adorable and surprisingly curious. They would come up to be petted or just to watch us cook breakfast. The kids loved camping with them! An excellent place for family.
Fun adventures with the alpacas
We stayed in the yurt that they have to rent. It has a king mattress blow up in there and was very comfortable with two memory foam single pads you could roll out and sleep on brought our own sheets and blankets and it was very comfortable had a campfire. The alpacas were friendly didn't want to come and bother you too much and one was super friendly. We had a wonderful time.
We had a wonderful stay with the alpacas! Kathy and her husband got us all set up when we arrived and introduced us to the alpacas. They had lights set up and even built a fire for us to enjoy. Everything was comfortable and welcoming. They have the most creative toilet I have ever seen! The entire space was beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here. So fun!
We had a great night staying at Kathy’s place. We had four ladies, two people slept in the yurt and two in tents. Although yurt was bigger than we expected (and awesome to have), and can easily sleep four with the king bed and the twin pads or if you bring twin size cots, etc). The view looking across the field was beautiful at sunset and the stars were lovely as well. The alpacas were so cute to watch and one (Macbeth) was friendly and would come let us pet him. There was also nice touches like a table with four chairs, a hammock, a fire ring, and a swing. We went to the coal creek winery before and it was great experience as well. Kathy was great to communicate with and she and her husband were very nice. Thanks for the wonderful night.
We loved our stay with the alpacas! The hosts were so kind and friendly, they showed our kids how to lead the alpacas and delivered us fresh eggs in the morning. We arrived on shearing day which was a great experience to see what is involved with raising alpacas. The campsite is spacious, clean and tranquil. What a fun experience so close to the city, our kids had the best time! We highly recommend this camping spot!
