If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Our stay at Bee Happy Farm was perfect. It’s a beautiful site, quiet, nice views and the owners could not have been more gracious and friendly!
Their dogs Sam and Sheila became fast friends too and were very entertaining.
We could not have been happier! I will definitely try to camp there again in the future.
Thanks Sandy and Ron!
Peace and quiet on a private ranch
The owners were so nice and quick to respond. The farm is delightful, quiet, tranquil. They had water and power available for my trailer. I had a wonderful experience and have already booked my next visit.
You will beehappy here!
Gracious! What a lovely stay we had near Durant, OK at the Bee Happy Farm. What a slice of heaven! Our campsite had electric and water available, shade trees lining our west side, and a level grassy site overlooking a lovely field in bloom for the honey bees. We LOVED Sam and Shiela, their adorable dogs, golden and aussie. We enjoyed a walk about the farm, saw the chickens, gardens, cattle, and pond. We rode out a storm that night, but knew the cellar shelter was available close by should we have needed it. Sandy and Ron are the sweetest people, and were very responsive and so kind. They gave us a dozen fresh eggs and we bought some of their amazing fall honey! Wow! What a way to start the day! What a delight! We look forward to our stay with them as we drive back north. You'll love this quiet sanctuary.
Absolutely love this place!
I'm tempted to NOT leave a review and keep this place a secret all to myself! I only had the opportunity to spend a night here, but wish I could've stayed for a month. It's incredibly quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, especially at night. Sandy & Ron are warm, gracious hosts, and I was able to tour their apiary and learn all about their bees. This is one of my favorite spots I've ever camped on Hipcamp. Highly recommend it to anyone!
Sandy and Ron are at the top of our list of friendly hosts. Their property is quiet, relaxing with plenty of fish in the pond! Their farm is a really neat place to stay. The cows are curious, friendly, and entertaining if you're not used to having cows around.
An amazing stay! check it out!
This was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed! The host Sandy & Ron are truly amazing and even days after leaving their beautiful farm we had conversations how truly nice and genuine they were ~ and that the world a lot more people like them in it! The quietness, the views, the hospitality, the seclusion yet still having cellular signal to be able to tend to a few business dealings really set this place apart. We're almost afraid to leave a review as we're afraid once others stay and experience what we did they will always be booked up but at the same time; our experience was so great it's not fair to keep this hidden gem all to ourselves. Please do yourself a favor and give this HIPCAMP a stay, we think you'll fall in love with not only the property, but the hosts!
We loved every minute of our time at Bee Happy Farm! I got lost due to road construction and ended up in their lovely little town. They came to meet us and led us to their home. They helped us get plugged in, set out chairs for us to stargaze and made us feel so welcome. In the morning, Ron gave us a tour of the farm to meet the chickens and one of the cows. The parking was a nice flat area, no leveling needed. Sam, the dog, was very friendly too!
We will be sure to go out of our way to visit again.
