Amazing site on top of a ridge!!
We have stayed at 4 Hipcamps now and this one has been the amazing. All the others have as well, but this one was special. You definitely need 4wd as it’s a steep grade 20-25 degrees. At the top is a flat area and the host had the campfire wood already set just to be lit and then extra wood as well. It was bliss hardly any noise at all. Amazing spot to camp and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful site! Really glad I chose to stay here. Excellent hosts. One "bundle" of firewood was quite a lot of wood. I look forward to coming back very soon.

Private spot with gorgeous scenery!
We loved our stay at site #3!! Absolutely GORGEOUS!! The drive up the hill DEFINITELY requires 4 wheel drive and we took our truck so it wasn’t bad getting up there. We followed the signs and the pink ties up the hill pretty easily. We brought our own bathroom just in case and definitely needed it because when you’re all the way up there it’s a long and steep hike to the bathroom that’s provided. The views were gorgeous and it was very secluded. There were a few kinda scary animal noises at night but I think that’s to be expected. They provided wood that we didn’t end up using because it rained, but that was so generous!! There’s also a wooden picnic table and stone fire pit at the site. The kitchen was very well stocked and the shower was very clean but the hot water didn’t last long. I love Margie’s little instructional notes and signs everywhere, she takes great care of the sites and amenities. I can tell she loves it by how much she puts into it!! Great spot!!! Thank you Margie!!

Secluded, & great hosts!
This stay was fantastic. Very secluded, and felt like a true get away. I’d definitely recommend it, the host was responsive and helpful! We had run out of firewood and they provided us some extra free of cost, which we really appreciated. The only thing to note is that fishing is listed as an activity, and salt creek is nearby, but not onsite and there is no designated fishing area at the creek. We ended up going to Tar Hallow and that was lovely, about 25 minutes from the camp.
