Located on 110 acres of rolling hills and slate bottom ravines. Your site is on a private clearing in the middle of the woods with easy access to trails. There is endless exploration to be had and many of Ohio's native plants to be discovered. You may also stumble upon one of four old foundations we have found, a sign of lives gone past. On-site you can enjoy hiking or fishing in the pond. There is plenty of room to roam and wander and we invite you to soak in the natural beauty of these woods that have been mostly untouched. You are likely to see white-tailed deer, wild turkey, as well as many varieties of birds and butterflies! There are several natural meadows interspersed throughout the woods.
Whether you come and stay immersed and unplugged or decide you want to venture out, there is plenty to explore and do. We are 5 minutes from Marmon Valley Farm, where you can go horseback riding or simply enjoy visiting the farm animals and playground. We are also just around the corner from Mad River Mountain, which is a ski and tubing slope during the winter months. If you have forgotten something, our little East Liberty Grocery store is just up the road and open Monday-Saturday. We are 25 minutes from the Ohio Caverns and only an 8-minute drive from Zane Shawnee Caverns. You can learn about the history of the Native peoples at our local Zanesfield library as well as the many signs posted throughout the county if you decide to go on a backroad drive.
Your campsite is a 7 minute walk from the front of the property, where you will park. We will provide a ride for your stuff to the site if you have too much to carry (which you probably will!) with our 4-wheeler trailer. This site is perfect for a couple, solo camper, or small family. It has one queen size air mattress, and an additional air mattress can be made available on request.
We can accommodate extra guests very close to this site if they have their own tent, just message us about this option!

We loved our stay here! Host was flexible and easy to contact. She answerer questions before we arrived and checked in halfway through our stay. Having a tent already set up, water, wood, and chairs made packing for our trip easier. It was about a .25 mile walk from the car to our site, and the hosts were able to bring our gear for us on an ATV. We got to hike some lovely and well maintained trails, including one that led to a pond just under a mile from the campsite. The site is thoughtful and well taken care of.
Great spot. wonderful hosts.
Spot was comfortable thanks to all of the provided amenities. The ATV “luggage service” allowed us to have our cooler as well as all of our gear at a secluded site. We will definitely come back. Thank you!
Perfectly appointed, peaceful spot
My husband and I camped at this spot last Saturday evening into Sunday with two friends and their dog. It was a rainy night but this spot was absolutely perfect for our needs. We were warmly greeted by the hosts upon arrival, and thought the offer to cart our belongings back on the short walk to the site was a nice touch. It is so quiet and peaceful on the grounds and we loved exploring the hiking trails between raindrops. We were delighted by a visit from Moose, a small dog who lives on the property, when he came out to enjoy the fire and guide us on our walk. We are looking forward to coming back again, especially during the colder months since the tent offers the option for heat. We were extremely impressed by all of the special details from the hosts - flowers for decor and more supplies than we ever would have expected in case we forgot anything. Truly above and beyond!
